Disappointing

I was hoping this would be able to replace the “Daw Control” apps that no longer function in iOS. Not the case so far.

IPad Pro

It's messed up for the iPad Pro
Distorted GUI
Out of place faders and knobs etc
The surface suffers from sticky mute and solo buttons
That have this gimmicky illumination. That's not even bright enough. Very dull. The manual lacks info on what daws are supported and what's offered to control. So you spend hours trying to find out how to access plugins and control them.

Waste of time, if you're using Reaper

It claims to work with Reaper, but I have spent hours on several different occasions trying to get it to work. Maybe it works well with Ableton, Logic, and Cubase. But it shouldn't claim to be compatible with Reaper when it's not. I feel cheated. Wasted my money and time. There are many other DAW controller apps on the market. Don't waste your time on this app just because it's cheap.

Very nice

The layout is one of The best I've seen. I like the transport controls in the lower right so that when I'm standing in front of a microphone in my recording room I can use my right hand to control the transport without blocking the rest of the screen… Something that I cannot do with Logic Remote.

Set up is easy and is very well described in the manual and was not daunting at all. It just works.

What I miss in this control surface is the ability to navigate by markers in Logic Pro. I know there's very little screen real estate left, but that would be a wish of mine. I would love to be able to use the fast forward and rewind buttons to advance or go back by marker.

Awesome

A really well designed controller ... Worth 20x the price!

Tight, Decent DAW Controller—Limited

I know it's hard to make these universal controllers, and these guys have done a good job. It connected simply and interacts well with Cubase, but the lag was immense—almost unusable. And those using those little v-pots for everything is a major pain.
I do recommend this though, if even just for transport and faders.

64 bit. Thank you for update !

Now, after allll this time, may we pretty please have a fully usable SONAR X1 to Platinum Editor.

Thank you

Oh & please update your other DAW apps. I'm buying more, soon.

I want my money back

Totally useless without anyway of selecting which host computer on your network you want to connect to and of course it does not work. Daw Remote works fine and I'm very disappointed with this app as it looks like the real McCoy but can't get it to work.

Just what I needed.

Brilliant app. Keeps the important stuff within reach. One of the most useful apps I have now.

The app for windows network techs, not musicians.

I'm running 32bit Windows 10 on a Dell notebook with Reaper and an iPad Air. I was able to select, arm, play and record tracks a couple of times. The third time I booted up, rtpMIDI could not find my iPad. I uninstalled rtpMIDI and bonjour and rebooted my computer, laptop and modem. I've tried it with my firewalls and virus protection disabled. I want to spend my time recording music, not troubleshooting. I appreciate the developers trying to make something useful, but there is not any meaningful support for Windows, so I just can't give this app any love. You have my five bucks. That will have to suffice.
