Issues

We have been experiencing issue after issue with dropping of calls , quality and now not recording of our church services. I’m getting tired

New app is a step backwards

Way too many steps just to join a voice-only conference call. If I wanted a zoom call I would use zoom.

No way to mute

There is no way to mute my sound when using the app.

Spoilt by blacklisting of contacts

If contact names don’t show up then you have to contact Customer Service to get them removed from the blacklist, but this may only be temporary. Very labour intensive, and unacceptable for a paid app. They should pay us $10 each time, then they might change it!

Otherwise quite a good app.

Great service with key mobile flaw

No complaints with the mobile app core experience, good audio quality and screensharing.

However, the process of setting up a conference is insane. Rather than just adding email addresses, like every other calendar app out there, here you have to first create a contact for any email address. Terrible UI/UX. I’ve complained about this to the developer for years and they haven’t fixed.

Makes me concerned that they are offering this application for free by harvesting and selling contact lists.

Video enabled update is trash

Ruined it. App crashes when using it to enter a conference. 0 quality control for iOS.

Love the app but there’s no video calling

Which we had video to make the most of this

Issues when doing presentation style calls

The “Mute All” button and user experience is not well designed.
1. You have to leave the Home Screen of the call to find the mute all button in settings.
2. There is very little/no haptic response when you hit the mute all button, and the active state is the exact same as the passive state, so you don’t know if it’s enabled or not. This would be an easy fix for a giant improvement in user experience.
3. When there are multiple numbers on the profile, and more than one of those numbers call into the same conference, the app gets confused with who the host is and causes problems. This could be solved by creating a way to set a certain number or user as the host for that specific call.
4. People who don’t understand technology unmute themselves and don’t know it. A presentation mode where only the one who started the call has the ability to unmute would be very helpful.
