Cannot Configure Camera
After many attempts to configure the camera I am giving up. All I get is WIFI error try again. My smartphone is connected to the same WIFI network “camsetup-xxxx” camera but I cannot get to the configuration of the camera. Keep getting WiFi error. VERY HARD TO CONNECT
Spent hours trying to connect this to the WiFi. The actual product isn’t cheap and now I’m stuck with this as I can no longer take it back. As soon as I deleted the app and retry it asks to rate the app. Since I had no success the first time, I will try again... if I cannot get it connect it’s going to the trash. I also have a canary camera which connected in minutes. Not worth it unless you have hours or days to putz around with it.Show lesscowgirl031

Hello Kiefer123, which iPhone and iOS Version are you using?Garbage app.
This app is garbage. It will work for a day or two then all of sudden when trying to view the cam the app will throw an error saying unable to retrieve camera information. I called customer support for the camera and they said it was an issue with the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, which seemed to fix the issue, but only temporarily. Now every couple days I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work. Please fix this app.Show lessjon110873

I have this app on both iPhone and iPad works as it should the only thing is that doesn’t allow me to make changes on the IPC-1a camera from either one although I have update with latest firmwareMarangone
BUY SOMETHING ELSE THIS DOESN’T WORK
I wish I would have read the app reviews before buying the camera! I didn’t know of the app until trying to set the camera up. Basically I have spent HOURS(!!) trying to configure the camera to my phone. I get to the very last step and get an error. I contacted customer service and was told it sounded like an error with the app. I was sent an email to fill out, and to send to the development team, to receive additional help. Half a day later I am sent in reply, the same directions as were done through the app originally, and the camera still isn’t configured. I tried to go through the website but when I try to add the camera I am directed to “other products/services” I can purchase. If you are fortunate enough to see this before purchasing the camera, DON’T DO IT! At this point I would have rather spent triple the money and be done, than to have wasted so much time and still have nothing!Show lesstbnks
