If you are a person that enjoys hunting upland game behind bird dogs, this is the publication for you.
It is old school in that it’s the dogs in our life that makes the hunt. Hunting behind a favorite dog makes the endeavor so pleasant it doesn’t even matter if you get one shot off.

The Best Upland Hunting Content
GunDog Magazine is the top choice for any reference material I need when training my bird dogs. Any question or issue one could ever have in the field, has been addressed in depth throughout these pages at some point. I typically don’t have to look anywhere else for guidance. The stories from the field always provide me with some sort of lesson or information to learn from, and the annual puppy issue is something I look forward to. Thanks GunDog.Show lessTurkeyboyonetwo

Content does not download for offline viewing
I have been a subscriber for several years, but recently the app for the iPad has gotten worse and worse.
I downloaded the 3 most recent issues before a long flight. When I got to the airport I opened the app and the content were again not downloaded. I tried again to download them in the app and each time I reopened the app the content was not available.
A magazine app where you cannot download the content for offline reading is pretty useless.Show lessanothaft
Problem accessing server
To be clear it is March 2019.
I signed up a few hours ago for the digital subscription and the hardcopy subscription.
When I tried to login I was given the above problem. Not being able to access the electronic version is a problem.
Now I have to go through the hassle of canceling the electronic version in order to save a lousy two dollars!Show lessunhappy camper50
Works fine; previous bad reviews are out of date
The app, v2, works fine with iOS 11. Paid for subscription online, downloaded app, entered user info, and I was set. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t seem to remember where you left off reading within the issue. Other digital magazines will open to the last page read, even if I’ve looked at other issues or left the app entirely. Gun dog always seems to open to the table of contents page. Issues will not download...
Appears to be incompatible with iOS 8 and above. Issues will not download and app often crashes. Emails to customer service go unanswered. Very disappointing. A form response that the company is working on it would go a long way... ...or are they?Ned Buntline
Does not work????????
I purchased a two year subscription and downloaded the first issue, which is now gone for some reason. I show four issues that are paid for, but when I click to download absolutely nothing happens. I have emailed their support a few times and have heard nothing back, but I do get multiple emails from them each week trying to get me to purchase another one of their magazines. Now I will say the one issue I was able to view was good and I enjoyed it, should they correct the issues I will update this and give additional stars.Show lessHerrc
