Works well. The interface is user friendly and very helpful.

I keep finding reviews from people who have been scammed online.
Unfortunately, the scammer who targeted them selected Zoho Assist, just as they might have chosen TeamViewer, AnyDesk, LogMeIn, or any other platform.

I sincerely empathize with the distressing experience you faced, but I urge everyone to move beyond this event and think rationally.

Is it just to blame a tool that is meant to assist you due to your own inexperience in identifying online scammers?

Is it right to speak negatively about Zoho Assist simply because it was misused by unscrupulous people?

Designed to streamline the computer repair process, Zoho Assist allows users to avoid the hassle of taking their devices to a shop and waiting for extended periods. Instead, it offers remote assistance, which can be a significant time and cost saver. However, the potential for misuse is an unfortunate reality that extends beyond the tech industry, affecting areas like medicine, where drugs can be misused, and politics, where power can be misappropriated. I hope this reflection is constructive and not bothersome to anyone. My curiosity was sparked after diving into various reviews.

Works well. The interface is user friendly and very helpful.
I just read that some people have been scammed and that the person who tricked them used this app.
But I don’t see how this is the app’s fault…🤨
This happens with every remote app. Either is anydesk team viewer, etc
Unfortunately there’s a bunch of malicious individuals who dedicate their entire time to do this sort of thing.

(By the way, I don’t work for Zoho neither I have any sort of relation with the company aside from being another customer)

Scammers

I was scammed out of almost a 1k thinking I was getting my iPhone fixed. Stole all of my info from screen sharing not knowing that with today’s technology it wasn’t the normal things to do with having iPhones and all since they came out! So DON’T download nor use this app at all!!!!!

Great remote support tool

I’ve come from using Team Viewer but as a casual user the cost has become prohibitive. I searched through various so,unions and ended up with Zoho. I’ve been using the trial version for a week or so now to support 3 remote computers. The web portal is easy to navigate and the integration for remote windows computers is brilliant. I can also support from my iPad which is a bonus. I haven’t tried it with any other operating systems but I’m really pleased with what I’ve seen so far. Full marks!

We have been using Zoho Assist for remote access for myself and other members of the team now for almost 4 years - have only positive things to stay. Secure and extremely well priced! I love my Zoho - it literally has made an enormous difference in my ability to work less , commute less and vacation more!
