  • WHIO Quality

I enjoy watching WHIO TV, and also enjoy the radio station with the Conservative programming. I am weary of all the other broadcasting stations that are so bias to the Liberal news. How did the world get this way? I have always had such a protected warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that I was surrounded by morals and values, and people still had respect for God, just as our fore fathers did when they formed this great land of ours. WHIO is probably the last of the quality stations to listen to. All of my family were Democrats in the 50’s 60’s. Things were lots different then, even the Democrats would never think of things like abortion being legal. I don’t even think JFK would have anything to do with the Democrats of today. I hope WHIO continues to keep our stations unbiased, it’s so great even to hear the Breath of Fresh Air commercials from Greg Macafee! I commend your Values for keeping things safe for our children, and grandchildren. God Bless You all!

  • Way too many notifications

The notifications from this app are excessive and redundant. I estimate I get anywhere from six to eight notifications a day. The notification preferences screen is confusing. I want to be sure I get notifications for severe weather and I’d even like the occasional alert for possible rain, I guess, but a 5-day forecast notification and three notifications a day telling me it’s hot outside is just too much.

  • Most used app I have

I just love this app, especially the radar and hour/daily weather forecasts. On the radar, I can see exactly when precipitation will occur at my location. I just wish their web site weather pages were as useful. Most apps have ads built in to help pay for it’s development. It’s no big deal. Sure there are some features I have no interest in, but others might find them useful.

  • Old guy

It’s difficult to find what I need to on your website I’m an old guy and it’s hard to figure out
  • Accuracy not so great

The site has lots of good features, but accuracy is not good which is the most important feature. It completely missed the 50 degree weather the Saturday before Memorial Day:(
  • Too many Video Ads

This app has lost it’s functionality with the constant bombardment of video ads. You cannot quickly get the weather information that you need without suffering through a video advertisement. This doesn’t work well on your phone or with limited bandwidth.
  • Commercials

Too many commercials before you get to the weather. Also stop the forced nick-names. Most are already taken and it takes forever to find something that works.
You really don’t want these responses because of the ridiculous nickname requirement.
  • Weather at its best.

7 weather has the best meteorological team in our area. Weather is a tough thing to be accurate at times, but they care about its impact and us as a viewing group. Thank you for the hardest job to make people happy at all, behind umpires.
  • This App is Awful

I prefer WHIO’s old app. Easier to read without the the ads and videos. love WHIO weather app. Easy to see what was coming at a glance especially needing to know the situation of bad weather. Now it’s videos and video ads of WHIO. The store not user friendly. Videos are not saving time.

An alert showed up on my phone tonight of a tornado watch which you could see a few of the effective counties but not all. When I tried to find the listing, it took a long time due to the videos. There are also many pop-up ads too. I’m not fond of the weather channel but I may switch.

I wish you would bring back the old app.
