Terrible, embarrassing to the organization
For as expensive as the festival is, and the fact that it purports to be a thought leader at the intersection of new technologies, film making and art, this app is an embarrassment. The UX is abysmal. You’re required multiple logins. And it’s basically a fake front end that relies on the website to operate and run. You’re better mobile logging in to the actual website than wasting time with this “app.” The organizers need to get with 2020 and prioritize better and more thoughtful app design. Still no syncing between devices
Sigh, I spent hours setting up my schedule and marking favorites. Yet, what I did on my ipad does not show up on my phone. I'm logged into my account on both devices. It indicates syncing, but then says "saved locally." Beyond frustrating this same flaw exists year after year.Neverinamillion

So far, so good. It seems the apps are recreated from scratch most years - but not this year, maybe. No bugs yet. Hopefully the developers are continuing to watch things carefully.SLCSteveC
Not sure festival staff wants users to buy tickets
App is pretty and fast, but the ticket purchase function is totally obfuscated. It’s a mystery how to actually buy tix. Talk about burying the lead.nice try guy

App out early—includes all venues—love it! Very useful and fun! This year I must say I’ve really enjoyed the app. Wishes I’d ask from a fairy godmother -wish I could see “tickets available,” or will I see that later? Schedule flaws
The schedule no longer has a way to filer press and industry screenings (to my knowledge). Huge oversight considering many working professionals at the festival use this...anonymouser1234

Synchronized favorites would be great
I picked my favs on the website but when i log in to the app it appears to sync but does not add my favorites. Please update that fix before I go to buy tickets and I’ll update my rating!Nofingnames
Kept Crashing - unusable
This app would not work unless you were in strong wifi and the Sundance WiFi could not handle it. It kept telling me that I had no internet even though I was connected. It also wouldn’t work with WiFi off and just using data. And even if i could get it up, it just kept crashing after a few secs. So unfortunately I could not use it, which was extremely frustrating as I wanted to get on the waitlist a couple times and could not!Show lessCouch potato123
