User reviews

Clean, soothing, simple

I found this app very helpful when I was recovering from a collapsed lung, and have continued to use it periodically to calm my nervous system and improve my HRV. I like fact that it can be used with your eyes closed (extremely soothing sound effects and music — reminiscent of a massage, somehow) and pairs neatly with the Apple Watch to record your heart rate fluctuations as you breathe. Better than meditation apps with loads of bells and whistles in my opinion.

Needs a visual indicator for inhale/exhale

Can you please add a visual indicator for inhale/exhale breath cues? Sometimes I want to do a session but am unable to listen to the inhale/exhale audio cues. I'm sure a visual indicator would also be helpful for folks who may be hard of hearing!

Great app but far too expensive for what it is

Very simple basic app, got it because it works with apple watch but the price point is really too high.

Great Hrv Breathing App

I was introduced to HRV breathing in a rehab center and wanted a way to continue practicing it afterward. The technique has helped me reduce stress, control my breathing, and build a daily routine around a dedicated breathing exercise.

After looking for an app to support this practice, I found this one and have been very happy with it. I’ve found HRV breathing extremely helpful, and the app itself is nicely designed and very simple to use.

The interface provides a clear visualization of your heart rate (measured on apple watch) while breathing, along with sound cues that indicate when to breathe in and when to breathe out. There’s also a helpful tool at the beginning that helps you find the breathing rate that suits you best, after which you can continue practicing with that rhythm.

Overall, it’s a straightforward and effective app for anyone who wants to practice HRV breathing regularly

Great Breathwork app!

This app is great for an evening wind down or just to destress through the busy work day. There’s a great range of durations to adjust for the time you have spare. I have noticed after sessions my stress score on my smart watch being confidently lower on days I use the app which is great! As an athlete I really notice that this will improve my sleep and in turn my recover which is such an important factor in performance and absorbing the training I am putting in. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a structured breathing program!
