This game is bad
This game is awful and I’m not here to talk about scammer and hackers those are avoidable but I’m here to talk about the gameplay it’s awful are you surprised they aversive the game like you go one all of these adventure and stuff but all you do is farm and farming is boring it’s a chore to do and that it you can do but you can make friends but community is toxic I’ve played this game for years when it was a lot newer and back then there was a lot of humble people just there to have fun now people only care about currency that is WORTHLESS and all you can do with it is flex with it and people do toxic things for it like casinos trying to break the economy things like that it’s sad I wish I had a time machine where I can go back to the good old days all my friends got bored of this game I hope the people who play this game and do toxic things realize that they are wasting their time oh yeah this game is extremely unrewarding all you get is cosmetic items and that is boring to me I’m quitting this game it will never change and Ubisoft is also trying to make all the nostalgia and fun gone if you are reading this and you want to find a better sandbox game play Minecraft and terraria those games are fun and a blast to play with friends and those devs actually care about there community that all I have to say about this game if this review isn’t enough to convince you that this game is bad I don’t know what whould.

It is a really good game and is definitely the most best and original sandbox game
The game is so cool and it is very sad that Growtopia is closing all console servers because I started to play on console. :(
Though, there is a problem when you try to load the game sometimes because it says something about initialising or re-syncing servers and that is a bit annoying.
But Growtopia is still a great game that will be enjoyed for loads more years!

What happened?
I honestly love Growtopia! I been playing since 2014 when everything was so simple and easy. I stopped playing for about a year due to personal matters. I recently made a return and I’m starting to really dislike what this wholesome game has become... all of the information worlds are shut and linked, most of the “buy” worlds are just filled with digivends and no further information on the actual prices of the blocks/items. It’s lost its excitement, I miss how it used to be. The new Growtopia support team is rubbish, and the mods that were hired by Ubisoft to be mods aren’t the best thing for the game, they only moderate because they’re paid, whereas the original mods actually cared about the integrity of the game because they weren’t ordered to be mods, they earned it... honestly it’s turned into a more of a knockoff version of Growtopia... please actually take that into account! Thank u and I hope the game still lives on <3

It’s gets worse once you get used to it
When you first play the game, it’s not too bad. There’s farming and many ways to get money. You have a lot of fun playing it. However, the bad things in the game definitely weigh out the good things. For example, the people. Most of them don’t even know basic math and you can’t trust any of them unless you know them in real life. A lot of them don’t even speak English. Another thing you’ll experience are things like the amount of players in worlds are capped at 60 so it would be hard to join worlds you want to. Also, maintenance breaks are absolutely annoying. They take hours. Oh and the lag/delay.... don’t even get me started. Some of them time, lag is not even based on your device or WiFi, I’ve been to some worlds where everyone is lagging similarly. In addition, it’s almost impossible to buy expensive items without losing world locks. Every time I buy an expensive item the price is always changing and most of them time it drops instead of rises. Playing the game is basically only fun if you’re rich or you have friends in real life that play it. Other than that, you’ll have a lot of time doing nothing and joining random worlds.

Banned for no reason
I was playing Growtopia one night when i decided to hop off for abit. Ive logged on 30 minutes later and saw that my account was banned. This was when Growtopia was going through some glitches and peoples items were going missing. So i thought this ban was a glitch so i waited. After ive heard that ubisoft had patched the glitch ive logged back on to see that my account was still banned for 730 days! I still believed it was a glitch and i checked every few hours to every few days. Its been atleast 2-3 months now and im still banned.

Honest opinions
Hi! I’ve been playing gt for about 6 years now. Places that I’ve been, the hype I’ve seen in each unique worlds, people I’ve met. This game holds part of my childhood and I still love it a lot, though I do not play everyday but, I still log in sometimes to visit the ogs places or talk to my friends online. Most of my friends do not play anymore but sometimes on rare occasions I might see them and maybe say hi to them. Growing up with gt, I’ve learned many many things from there. I would love to thank the developers for keeping gt safe and the mods for their hard work. Thank you! Love you guys so so much. :) 😚.

I LOVE Growtopia. I got scammed like maybe 2 times? These kinda scam made me realize that not everything is going to be or happen the way I want it to. And my mom tried to purchase a bag of gems once for me and the purchase didn’t go through, idk why, but I’m gland it didn’t, from there I learned how to grow my account and grow as a person trying to forgive the person who scammed me. I also love how MODS actually respond to your messages like they actually do care. I also love the new updates and fixes as we can see that Growtopia is trying to improve themselves daily. What ever complain we have, they’ll try their best to fix them. Really appreciate it! I’ll be back a year later.

Annoying as hell now
Ubisoft went overboard with all this ghost crap, the worlds are flooded with really REALLY ANNOYING ghosts that disrupt and kill you constantly every few SECONDS 🤬 cant farm, cant redesign, can barely move through my own worlds without getting hit by multiple ghosts. Theres like a half dozen per world on average unless the world is BRAND NEW and less than a week old 😑 all the ghost crap to get rid of them btw, costs a bloody fortune! Typical ptw nonsense eh ppl? 😏

Pls see this growtopia devs
So I have played this game for a long time now roughly around 2 and a half years. And I have seen it’s ups and downs but a month back I bought my dream the ray man fist I saved for almost 2 years and I was happy with it. Then one day I woke up and I could not equip it or take it off at first I had herd of duped items not being able to pick up. And I also herd that you won’t be able to drop or trade dls until a fix in a dupe glitch. So I tried playing the waiting game. I waited until the next patch and after school I got on GT and it still wasn’t fixed I even waited until another patch update. Nothing happened. At this point I’m frustrated because it may have been a duped item but how could I have known it was duped. He sold it for the same price as others he didn’t say it was duped nor try to scam it was legit trade, just it wasn’t legit on how he got the item so I spent a lot of time on this and GT devs should notice this cause it costed me a lot of time for my item to be unable to be used.

has this game when i was in 4th grade. (11th grade now) so much things has changed. didn’t have a growID for a while but when i finally made one, i got hacked. made a new account and forgot my password, then my current account, i can’t change my password because the email i used back then was my email when i was around 5th grade and i totally forgot since i have a new device, email, and etc. been afraid to play because of the spike of hackers / scammers. hope i could change my password because i really want to keep my account and not make a new one. I love this game, played it when it was at it’s peak. Hakanss, CocoMonkey, Squiggy13, Wicker10, all those cool youtubers but i completely stopped being active once Ubisoft took over. feels wayyyyy different. Still keep the game because it’s so nostalgic. i would rate 5/5 if not for the current toxic community :/ . love growtopia 4ever😂
