Good game
I’ve been playing Growtopia since 2014 and I’ve seen the ups and downs of the game it’s a nice community with some problems here and there for example chat bots, Hackers, Scammers trying to ruin the economy, And people using dupe glitches that come up here and there plus the occasional rollbacks due to the duping and glitches from updates but overall it’s a great game that I love to be apart of.

I started this game in 2013 and still playing it. When I first started I got scammed a few times but I eventually learned from my mistakes. I learnt to take the good with the bad and so I eventually grinder for my riches, made a fortune and now I have enough to participate in many fun events. What i love most about this game though is that it taught me a crucial skill, how to manage my money, a skill that I’m sure I will need in the GUI tire. I learnt to buy the items I want, participate in events W my friends and keep a source of income (farmables). I’ve played many games in my days but growtopia is the one consistent game I’ve played throughout my time as a gamer. Back when I had my first iPad when I was 6 to now when I have a pc and I’m almost 15! This game has its ups and down just like any other game. But the one thing this game reminds you of is, THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS TO SUCCESS (in this case being rich in the game)

Great game but a few things that need to be illegal
This is a great game I really like this game. Seth and hamumu and Ubidev are great mods so are all the others. But that’s not the point the whole point is now days people use broadcast or super broadcast for saying OMG COME HERE AND ONLINE DATE! Or MSG THIS GUY GAY!!! This needs to stop seriously people are mentioning stuff that shouldn’t be mentioned on a game for fun online dating and msging people gay should be illegal.

Casino issue
As of right now I feel like growtopia is full of casino worlds and it’s not a good thing. Let me explain growtopia is a type of game where you socialise and find different types of worlds, but thanks to the casino worlds always being on your recommend worlds, you are being blocked from finding new experiences ,and different types player bases.
Another reason why I feel like the casinos is a problem/ issue is because it can cause people to quit, due to them losing all their earnings on a small bet, sure they can win but that might lead to a gambling addiction, and eventually they will lose everything they worked for.

this game is very fun indeed, but there are too many scammers/ hackers and it seems like nothing is being done to stop them.
There are thousands of hackers that don't get banned, but one of my accounts got banned for rapidly dying in water. When new players go to the world START, its full of casino spammers and people advertising a drop game or a vend world. There used to be nothing like this a few years ago. The casino worlds do get nuked every so often but thats only after they run for several days.
i have seen people get scammed but ive had no idea how to help them. please try and make this game better

I need help
This game is basically my whole childhood I’ve been playing since 2015 my lil brothers started playing as well but they started scamming people and doing casino on my device so I was banned for a few years. But the ban wore off eventually and I had to change accounts because my little brothers would use mine so I did but because my little brothers also got every device banned I had to drop it in a world and then quickly pick it up on another account but in the process I got scammed because someone found my world please help.

Not extremely terrible, but not great
The app doesn’t work a lot of times. I enter the game and get a lot of visual glitches, freezing up, crashing, not logging in and other nonsense. It’s definitely not my phone being bad, because it’s the newest iPhone. It’s really annoying and you should fix it.
The game itself, well.. it’s a game, certainly. It’s fun grinding for items and sometimes finding cool people to talk to, but usually, it’s just riddled with toxicity. Since Ubisoft took over the amount of casinos, spammers and scammers seems to have increased. I genuinely don’t know whether to trust y’all and hope you’re trying or to ridicule you guys. The updates you keep releasing just seem to be for money milking, like the latest Pegasus or whatever event. The game seems to be unmoderated, because how is the recommended worlds full of casinos? How are people constantly superbroadcasting scams? It’s just ridiculous. The game’s been dying and you’re further killing it. Come on, Ubisoft, don’t let this wonderful game die.

Economy
Ever since Ubisoft purchased growtopia, there has been an influx of added items that pushes to instability of the growtopia economy. I’m not saying the Ubisoft company is bad (they make interesting and well detailed items), but seriously when will there be a break for new items? It seems every week there’s something semi expensive added to the game, as more of these items are added the demand for other items drop leading to unstable prices of virtually everything that’s around 1-10 diamond locks in cost. There should be more added items, such as shirts and pants, that contribute to unique character styles instead of flooding the market with eye blasting hats and back accessories that cost well over 3 diamond locks. Adding so many items only contributes to economy instability making scammers, influencers, and manipulators more prone to profits by cheating other players.

This game has gone so downhill
I’ve been playing Growtopia since it first came out and all I’m gonna say is that I wish it was as fun as it used to be. The Growtopia community was so good and the game was genuinely a fun place to be and a fun place to make new friends. Now it’s just full of scammers, hackers and people who play casinos. No one cares about each other. All people do is boast about how many dls they have. The language some people have towards each other is terrible. I recently got hacked and Ubisoft didn’t help whatsoever and just told me to have a stronger password next time when I already did and with 2 factor authentication but still managed to get hacked and they just kept repeating the same things over again. Innocent people get banned for doing nothing but then ignore everything the scammers are doing. Most worlds are full of bots. Things need to change ASAP :(

Sad how it turned out
Growtopia was amazing, i remember i played it like a few months after its release and i was instantly addicted. It was honestly just such a good time. The friends i made on there are still my friends now years later and we’ve even flew out and met each other. friends u make there actually last a life time. I revisited the game for nostalgia and now its impossible to find an actual world and meet people, all it is now it worlds with random names with a portal next to spawn that takes you to a different world with another portal that just takes you to a stupid casino, drop game, or a world no longer accessible. The game blew up in Indonesia and its like the main player base now and i have such a difficult time making friends on the game cuz its nearly impossible for me to find someone who speaks english and the very few that i do find are toxic because im not as rich as them, (my set used to be very pricey back in the day) anyways yeah, its nearly impossible to make friends because theres no social worlds anymore, every single world is just a casino, drop game, or someones farm world. Sad to see the game and how it is now..
