Way too many ads, to the extent that I use a different app now

Missing the legacy widget, which refreshs data each second is really great feature.

Yahoo real time updates especially TSX preferred. Ads blocking screen too in your face. Indexes such as S&P when selected can show 3 different values on the same page, none in real time and presumably on different update cycles. Non English advertising with click bait select/cancel icons in Mandarin, and other languages reduce the app to irritation instead of reasonable advertisement to user. A cancel icon with x could be understood in any language ad but is not available Anyway, it does spur me to use dedicated online broker info primarily and not this app. This app used in spare room or while exercising to see trends. Previous 4 star review: Thanks for the app. Used frequently for overview. For real time Canadian stocks must supplement via on-line brokerage No longer “see” the advertisements. On older app versions would look at ad before cancelling. Newer versions of app the removal tab different for each ad. Realized that I am no longer aware of what the advertisement is. Tech side got ahead of itself with ad design and advertisers suffer the loss in viewer awareness.

Best stock app ever!
Long time user
Held on to old version until forced to update. Ads are a pain on new version (what I was trying to avoid)

Okay app 🆘 needs lots of help
The app provides plenty of relevant information that be useful but the amount of invasive ads in it is out of control!
Developers allowed Google to take over 50% of screen real estate in some instances. The standard is to place ads on the lower end that keeps it from being intrusive to the customers. Stock master does not do only do this but also places larger than usual ads that take over the screen. These ads pop into view stacked on top of the lower screen ads. At times you have two ads running on the screen taking over most of the view. no other reputable stock app in the App Store does this!
The app seems old fashion and unorganized. It needs a well overdue re-design. It seems like the app was coded for an 80’s PC and then crammed all this to fit a phone screen. Look at apps like Robinhood, Webull and others that although oversimplified still make user experience much easier to the eye. I do not prefer those two apps because they lack the amount of information this app provides but it’s very noticeable they were made to be easier to use and look at.
In conclusion, I love the amount of information this app provides, it’s unparalleled! But it’s convoluted and hard to look at. Greed through advertising is noticeably happening with the Stock Master group to the point it ruins the user experience.
