not enough explanation of gameplay
The designers of this game spent too much time on the artwork, design, and backstory, and too little on explaining how the game works. The user interface (menus and functions) are as beautiful as they are incomprehensible. It's not clear what options are available or what the little folded triangles or other symbols mean. The entire game ends up being frustrating to navigate and play. Challenges and requirements for game progression are not explained in detail. Controls are an obstacle--they seem hard for the sake of being hard, as if that's what the game is about--mastering the controls, rather than the concepts.Show lesshero pup

Profoundly flawed
Lovely graphics and feel to the theme, but the control system is flawed and capricious enough to quickly become irritating. Big potential, but needs a lot of tweaking to fulfil it.Olioli1511
Not great
2 stars for being pretty and having cool physics. I don't think it's as confusing and frustrating as most people are saying, but it is quite inconsistent. Also as some of the reviewers have noted, what's the deal with the insulting tutorial? I'm foolish for clicking "detailed?" Why even make it an option if you won't let people use it, and then insult the player? Because of that I had a bad taste in my mouth almost immediately. Lol, kids these days run into a challenge, get held up, throw down their controllers in a hissy fit, and go back to their CoD respawn timers.
This game is challenging and the physics engine is not easy at all to pick up. Once you do, hurling your hedgehog from cloud to cloud is tense and hilarious. If life is hard for you, don't pick up this game.Show lessHedgehog154838
Beautiful game, iterative gameplay!
Beautiful graphics, very smooth animation and appealing interface. But the gameplay is very iterative and there's nothing to increase the replay value of the game. Even unlockable ropes can't motivate me to play it more. Menus are confusing too.
It has potentials but a better and more user-friendly design, challenges, powerups, unlockable contents and above all an online multiplayer game will bring this game back to life for most players.Show lessincineration

The best UI I have ever seen in an app, of the hundreds I have gone through over the years. Once I got the hang of the controls it became very fun! But it took a while for me to get the rhythm of when I should throw the rope out to keep my momentum, I'd suggest a sort of video demonstration in the game would have reduced the frustration a lot.Show lessziffman
Fun game, interesting mechanics
I don't get people these ppl who are giving this app one star, it's not that confusing. I wasn't hung up on what was a button and what wasn't, plus you can restart a game at any time if you're having trouble so if you get 0 points its your own fault. Extremely fun to play, narration/tutorial was very funny and the rope names are cracking me up. Overall a very playful game, good way to kill 20 minutes or so, challenges are fun and really test your skills.Show lessjCr41g
Beautiful, cute, frustrating
It's a beautiful game. The graphics, sounds, tutorial narrator.. Etc... Super cute!
BUT... It's really frustrating because the controls are hard to handle and understand... I try to make the hedgehog go where I want him to, and after struggling to get him off the ground, he falls back down, and I close the game in frustration... It is very irritating. I want to play this game and I want it to be fun, but it is neither or those things..... And honestly I don't understand the point of the game...
Developers- instead of thinking "how do these people not understand our game??? They must be idiots! Our game is cute and fun! They are just too stupid!"
