Good app
Hi this is me, a kid who uses doodlemaths. So this app is great for learning, and would reccomend for your child. One small problem is that today i was doing doodlemaths and there was a question asking “how much is _____ml equal to in L? And i typed in 14.3, which was the right answer but i think there is some kind of visual glitch because instead of 14.3L, it said 14.3ml. So it’s a good app, but one small issue. We downloaded doodlemaths for our five year old twins as one of them was excelling at maths up to the point that he was understanding concepts way beyond year 1, and the other needed a little help. After looking for local and reasonably priced maths tutors, we decided to try doodlemaths first instead. I cannot recommend this app enough! After just two weeks, the gifted twin has almost completed all of the year 2 modules and has a percentile age of 7, whereas the twin that was falling behind is now right on target in terms of both age percentile and year 1 work.
The programme is so easy to use as after your child has completed a baseline assessment, it automatically adjusts to the correct level for your child. It’s fantastic being able to see graphs that track your child’s progress over time, and most importantly, it’s fun, takes ten minutes a day and my children love it. My eleven year old has been using Doodle Maths daily for over three years. We almost never do more than the x a day questions but it’s great for giving a short burst of practise every day. I really like that it follows the national curriculum and tailors the speed at which new topics are introduced etc. As far as I know your child’s doodle maths age is based on the average age of doodle maths players working at the same level, so perhaps not as useful as you’d think. The support team have always been really responsive and helpful when something has gone wrong, though they do semi-regularly revamp the look of the app or add new features which goes down like a lead balloon with my child, who likes everything to stay the same forever.Show lessMari87654

We started using this at the very start of lockdown restrictions in 2020 to ensure our 7 year old didn’t lose any of the maths skills she had learned. She’s used it almost every day since and enjoys completing her ‘7 a day’.
Now we’re back to school we use the ‘added extra’ function to align with curriculum coverage at school so if she’s learning new content in the classroom, we add this to the app. Her maths attainment has remained consistently high and she is very confident with the subject. I have been trying to see if I can get in touch with someone from doodle maths team but there is no number or contact available. Every time my child tries to move ahead to a different level it keeps asking to subscribe. I have 4 subscriptions for the same child otherwise it wouldn’t allow her to move ahead. I hope they don’t charge me 4 times. Also it’s very glitchy. It doesn’t work well on iPhone.it keeps saying there was an error. Hope someone helps me to sort this issue .Show lessmathlearner11
Good app but disappointing due to issues
A really good app that helps your child/children learn and progress in the subjects....BUT the Doodle apps / programs are so frustrating & very disappointing at times!! They seem to have more & more issues as it doesn’t remember the previous days completed work when you log back in, leading to an unhappy child! The Doodle Apps & browsers are not supported on Chromebooks even though these are used in schools everywhere?! And there is seemingly the same issues, even when using the Internet to log in rather than the app!
We have given up contacting customer support to reinstate the streaks, who were always really nice & very helpful.
A higher rating would’ve been given if these issues can be sorted. Please sort these bugs/issues out. Thank you.Show lessMand32boo

Cannot get the app to work at all after I did the update yesterday. It crashes the minute I try to open it. I have deleted so many apps on my iPad just to give extra space and yet it’s not working. Pls help me fix the problem as my child uses this app for school.sads80
