I have been using a few apps to train my music theory knowledge. I use this one to interact with to learn the progressions, scales and chords.slaphost
Wasted my money
I bought the Pro upgrade thinking I could easily chart out songs. Every time I try to put in the notes I need, it gives me pages of alternative chords and won't just takes the notes that I know are correct. I get it that this is a benefit for some, but when you need a simple way to get a song charted verbatim, this is useless.
I don't need theory or inversions, I need to chart chords. I wasted $5. I don't care about the money as much as the need for a tool to get work done. I have a pile of songs to learn and I don't read staff or know piano. I just know what I hear and can play it. I just need to chart it and move on...

I purchased this app as a reference tool since I took piano lessons as a kid, quit, and still can't play piano. Although it's a bit confusing to navigate at first, I can now see the true value of it!Babarambaba
Very Comprehensive app!
I like the app! It is a great reference guide. It has every scale known to man and possibly some aliens. It can be a bit clumsy to navigate through, but there is so much in the app I'm not sure how that would be improved. Take the time and learn it. Enjoy!GuitarWorld
