  • Best for Songwriting & Beginner Theory

Super comprehensive and logical layout. I use it for my song writing every day when I need to look something up. My friend uses it to learn theory. Pretty nifty little tool that packs in a bunch of features although a phone screen is such a small space to view all of the information on.
  • Writing and decoding music

I use this app most when I am about to set up a score of music. The shear amount of information in this free app is incredible. I used this app on multiple occasions to figure out what key a score was written in and what type of scales were used in runs. Let me provide an example, from the movie The Terminal, the main soundtrack is written in a D minor key, and towards the end of the song the lead clarinet plays a D genus diatonicum veterum correctum (yes this is a real thing) scale pattern.

    Application is very helpful

  • Lifesaver

I would be failing my music theory class if I didn't have this app as a reference. Very quick and easy to pick up and use. 5 stars.
  • Music theory's best friend

This app is awesome!! It's very helpful. I only have a couple months of music theory but this is a great reference guide, highly recommend this app

So so so useful. Basically a chord dictionary and beyond. Great for people taking music theory! Use it for melodic dictation practice!
  • Back to singing again

I love this App I'm getting back to singing again after being out for a long time this helps me run though my vocal exercise thank you APP
  • Awesome!!

Having this on my phone makes life soooo much easier!!!
  • Great.

Easy to use, gets you wanting to compose instantly. Better than piano lessons. Actually with this app handy, a sneaky novice like me could probably give piano lessons.
  • Cool :)

I use to know all the chords as a young young child 7-9 yrs old. This is exactly what I'll need to learn them again and in no time ill not only play the guitar a little and a little piano! Then to get writing!
