Description of TilePro

The goal when setting tiles from wall to wall is to end up with tiles at the walls that are of equal width on each side, creating a natural symmetry. This app is a simple tile layout tool that will calculate these dimensions quickly and easily. By simply entering your tile width, grout width, and distance from wall to wall, the app will give you measurements for one row of tile. It also gives you a starting point from which to set your tiles. Can also be used for any number of projects where you need to end up with and equal spacing on the ends such as wainscoting or dentils. Check out my other construction related apps...BalusterPro for a baluster spacing calculator and StairBuilderPro for a stair stringer layout tool.

  • Who can’t figure straight lay?

Where’s the Brick pattern or 1/3 brick option to figure where to start? 12”x24”. Should have layout for all 3. But especially straight lay. Visual

This program doesn't work correctly. I realize it's a basic program but every time you put in the necessary information and press calculate, it gives you equal cuts, which I assume are for the two tiles at the end of each row and the number of tiles needed for each row. The only problem is the total math equal to the size of the tiles needed, plus the thickness of the grout never equals the width of the wall.
