Why there is no remote key any more? It’s a good function, why make it disappear?🥲it is very important!!

Updated: they’ve partially fixed the Apple Pay issue - now, the Digital Key works perfectly if you open the app and the Digital Key each time.

But if you have the Digital Key open, turn the screen turns off and on again, and then hold the phone or watch up to the reader, Apple Pay will take over.

50% of the time, works every time

Please fix the bug where, when you activate the Digital Key and hold it up to the reader, Apple Pay detects the reader and takes over. Some days I feel like I have to try 5 times to get it to read.

No sign out?

Signed in with the wrong email - “you don’t have access to this application”. Now can’t sign out to sign in with the correct one, even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Unreliable garbage

Will work one minute and then the next watch nor iPhone works on the lock. It’s faster just to use a code since you know that’ll work the first time instead of this app that makes you stand there and fail while others wonder if you’re waiting to tailgate into the building.

Edit: nearly a year later still unreliable junk software. FYI it’s also been two years since they promised Apple wallet support, it all we got is an unreliable Apple Watch app to match the unreliable phone app.

Good but

Great system but sometimes will not refresh locks’ status (office mode)
Also would be great to have keys in Apple wallet so even if phone is out of battery you could still unlock the doors

Terrible.

Sadly my appt uses this system so I'm forced to use it. Constantly glitches out, opens up your wallet when you're trying to tap in. Terrible app and key system.

Terrible App

Really poor quality app. The QR scanner doesn’t work, even though most other companies have mastered this. And the app itself is slow and buggy.

Someone should launch a competitor app as it’s a great and easy to build concept - but the developers at Salto don’t know what they are doing.
