  • I really like this

This is the best game. I’m on level 10. I’m about to go to level 11
  • It tries, but app is broken

We use this app because it is required by my child’s school. However the letters are cut off at the bottoms in multiple areas. I’ve submitted tickets, the developers have not yet responded, it’s been over 3 weeks. It’s not encouraging for beginning learners when they continue to get the wrong answer to something they actually understand.

Overall the app is kinda slow. I do believe in time it’ll be more engaging and fun, but honestly overall it’s just boring. My daughter will sometimes just hit random buttons because she’s getting bored.

Hopefully the letter issues will get fixed. If this is something you are considering to add to your homeschool routine I would consider another app. It would be nice to see as a parent what and how the app tracks progress. All in all I’d give this a limp thumbs up.

    Developer Response

Can you try changing the text size on your iPad? You can do this by going to your settings, and selecting General > Accessibility > Larger Text and then move the slider. If that does not resolve the issue, you can reach out to the Lexia support team by calling 800-507-2772. We will be happy to help!
  • Good learning but annoying

This app is great for kids to learn.but when my child gets something wrong the lady talks for so long.it takes up her time but great app for learning
  • Love it

I love the app it helps me a lot because I have dyslexia so it helps and it does not freeze . I also do it at school and it freezes a bit 😄😄😄😄😄😄
  • All about it and how I find it

I use Lexia at school I’m on the final level I really like I just don’t like when it freezes.
  • Great Program

This program was not intended to replace teachers. Many times people complain not realizing what the real issue is. When students struggle, as learning to read can cause. This program monitors, encourages, and helps them. If they continue to struggle, teachers are notified and even given tools to help address the issues.
This doesn’t mean they do it and if your student is showing lots of frustration then you should talk with their teacher.
The program is one of the few I’ve seen, as a teacher and parent, that targets specific reading, phonics, and phoneme skills.
There IS work involved with learning to read and it can be more challenging with a reluctant reader but this program is WAY above the rest in engagement and targeted help!
