Hard to Navigate as Parent
I am a parent using Seesaw for my daughter in Pre-K. Her teacher uses it for communication and photo sharing. I have notifications set-up and yet under the notifications tab in the app there is one thing; an old phot post from her teacher that was sent to everyone. I get notification alerts, but have to guess which section to look in. The only way I know what kind of info I am looking for, for sure is by looking at my email becuase or gives me a preview. I tried to look under help topics on the Seesaw website to see if I am doing something wrong, but I can only find trouble shooting info for Seesaw web-based, not the app. The only app info I find is how to how to download it. I like that I can get photos and can easily contact her teacher if needed. That’s pretty much all I like.Show lessBad UI
I can’t reach the bottom icons for comments. It is hindered by the bottom bar for home, journals, notification. How can you not see this if you actually test this. This is an issue with the bottom most journal entry. I have an iPhone 15.Some updates have made the perfect app to less than perfect
I love seesaw. I have been using it almost 4 years now. But some of it’s recent updates I don’t approve of ‘sadly’ because I still believe it’s a great accompaniment to schooling.
When assigning activities, the option to lock the size/resizing fonts has been discontinued. My kids are ever mistakenly changing the fonts when moving it into place.
Also, when writing with their fingers on the screen using their tablets, the writing isn’t true to what was written, the lines in each letter would be broken tremendously, sometimes the letter would be unrecognizable.
