The app was fantastic. Out of all the learn Greek apps out there it was the best by far. In a recent update the English voice turned from pleasing to Steven Hawking’s voice. A robotic voice that is extremely distracting and hard to understand. I have emailed support 3 times and received NO reply.IamPhotoRick
Simple & Effective
After visiting Greece once, I’ve dreamed of going back with the ability to converse in Greek. This app is great! Highly recommend. It helps you learn phrases and words (with the right pronunciation!). Just pick a category and click play. It will shuffle through words/phrases, adding new ones as you go. Continues playing even when the app is in the background. Listening to words repeated frequently for even 10 minutes daily ingrains then in my mind— both Greek pronunciation and English meaning. My preferred app for learning Greek
This app is an excellent teaching tool. The constant revision of words is very helpful. After just a few months I am able to read and speak simple Greek.Xenathon
Very helpful
So far this app has been great. The voice recorder is a nice touch. You can record yourself and hear it with the correct pronunciation. I thought it was too good to be true that it was free. You do have to pay to get the full version or you are only scratching the surface. It was very affordable considering how expensive some of these can be. I am happy so far. Great, gentle reinforcement
I have enjoyed using this app to accompany other Greek language apps I am using. I like the fact that it focuses on simple words and phrases which are extended and reinforced little by little. I particularly like the three-pronged approach. The word or phrases in English, the phonetic pronunciation above and the actual written Greek above that. Touching the screen to hear it spoken is the icing on the cake. No misunderstanding of how to say the word. It’s a winner in my book.Show lessaphid2aphid

Can’t thank you enough for developing this app. Greek is a language I have longed to learn but have found it very difficult to find anyone who can teach it either through a college course or an app. I love that I can develop my vocabulary and that I can listen to it as I am going about my daily business. I knew a handful of words before but I am now building on my existing knowledge. I like that not only can you hear and say it, you can also visualise the words hopefully developing the ability to read and write with time. The only improvement could be that it includes grammar and sentence structure. As my knowledge is building I can construct a sentence but not sure if it makes sense in Greek.. A fun way to learn.
From a beginner to a believer in just a couple of weeks. The stage of learning suits me just fine. A few words a day and hey presto your away on your journey to Greece armed with enough vocabulary to order dinner, a beer or 2 and get by with a few pleasantries along the way. If I stick at this for a few minutes a day I reckon I'll be confident albeit slow when I get to Corfu.
