Traveling to Greece so downloaded this app to help familiarize myself with the alphabet, vocabulary and pronunciation. It works very well. I like the various options it provides for learning. I really love the ability to record my practice and then hear it played back with the proper pronunciation from the player. Very helpful to hear where I need to change inflections. Best Greek App for Free
This is the best Learn Greek app for free. But, some of the phrases are kind of difficult to understand, like 'please, you're welcome.' Overall the app is great. I love that you can play the audio, and progresses as you set it too. If you are looking to learn Greek, I recommend you download and use this app.Show lesschristianjohnston
Simple and effective, could use some tweaks.
Great app! Simple to use. Effective learning systems. Could use more groupings, since a jump from 10 most important to 50 most important words is a big jump. Also could use better pause control, with shorter pause between English and Greek, yet longer pause between words. Currently only one pause option rules them all. Still a great app.Show lessM & G

Very useful so far
I just downloaded this app a couple of weeks ago and can see it is a very good vocabulary builder. Unlike regular flash cards, this app varies the presentation, mixing recent, old, and new words in a way to make word learning interesting! I am looking forward to getting to the phrase and sentence building sections.Show less<RAB>
Easy to Use
I downloaded this app in lieu of a recent trip to Greece. It was very helpful and what I like the most is the simplicity of it all. The pronunciation is very clear and also available in Greek as well in English so that you may familiarize yourself in terms of reading in Greek.Golden Oro

Great app, good sound quality.
I think it's the best inexpensive app around.
It works great. I have a few suggestions though. First, it would help to see a word in Greek and be able to tap on it and hear it (would be useful with practicing reading). Currently it starts pronouncing a word as it turns a tile from English to Greek side. And Second, some kind of flashcard logic could be useful, too (the tiles do resemble flashcards, but there's no way to indicate if you actually got the answer or not)Show lessGracefulClimber
Great, but...
This app is the best way I have found to learn, that is inexpensive. My only complaint is that: having recently returned from Greece, some of the phrases are not really used the way they present them. For instance: there is no reason to have 'ola' in front of 'entaksi'. I only heard the latter used. It is not really detrimental to learn it that way, but seem a little inefficient.Show lessA.K.Strigidae
