Amazing puzzles

The collection of puzzles I’ve encountered is truly astonishing and has the unique ability to captivate me for hours on end. I often find myself nestled in my room, completely absorbed in these challenges. In fact, I have completed each of the puzzles not just once, but twice! The level of enjoyment is so high that I just can't seem to put them down; they are simply too good to be true. But trust me when I say, these puzzles are real and you're not just dreaming!

However, there is an important detail to keep in mind: while some of these puzzles are available for free, several others require a VIP membership to access. So if you’re looking to experience the full range of puzzles, that may be something to consider. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend these puzzles as an absolute must-have for anyone who enjoys a good mental challenge!

Great but …

I used to really enjoy playing this game. I would send an hour or two whiling away at a puzzle, however when the update was done a few days ago they added ads into the mix. I’m already sick of having these ads pop up just when you get a good run on. Disappointing because it used to be an enjoyable app.

Best jigsaw app

Of the several I use this is the best. There are lots of free options and the photos are clear and bright. You can choose the degree of difficulty for each puzzle so all levels are catered for. I would like to see a free grouping of works of art in the selection. BUT, from December 2024 the app pops up ads several times during a free puzzle which it never did before. VERY ANNOYING! I’ve subtracted two stars.

Commercials after 32 pieces connected, interrupting flow.

I have loved doing these puzzles for years. I have completed almost 6000 of them. But the creators have decided it was a good idea to input a commercial 32 connected pieces into doing the puzzle. So if you are in the grove, forget about it. 32 pieces connected, then bam, you get a commercial. Can you imagine being interrupted in the middle of Minecraft or some another game. Who cares if the commercials are before and after but not in the middle. So, if you are looking for a game that gets interrupted, then this is for you. If you expect the commercials to be before or after what you are playing then skip this one and go to their competitor. Also, I complained about the commercial interruption in the help area yesterday, a Tuesday. They stated they would reply within 24 hours. It is just after 24 hours later on a Wednesday. I got no response. So, I was going to contact them again. I cannot. There system will not allow me to write any note to them. So my only recourse is to give them a 1 star review. Maybe then, they will respond. But honestly, if they do not remove the commercials after 32 pieces completed and not add any commercials during the completion of a puzzle, I recommend changing to a puzzle company that listens to the customers and you can enjoy elsewhere. Still looking for a response.

Too many ads - so many complaints, but even more added!!!

I’m fed up with the constant increase in ads, particularly the new additional ones showing up in the middle of playing the game. Don’t you dare provide your generic response about having to have ads to provide free content as nobody is complaining about the ads, just the outrageous amount, particularly adding even more ads than there already was previously. After literally hundreds of reviews stating there are too many ads, you have the audacity to increase the amount rather than decrease them.

There is absolutely NO need for the amount of ads you are now running, otherwise you would have introduced them years ago. It’s obvious that it’s about increasing profits, not improving the customer’s. I work in the app developer area so can speak with authority that your ridiculous and generic responses to customer complaints is simply incredible.

On another note, when I press the cancel button I expect to be cancelled out of the ad, not to have to ‘cancel’ out of it 3 times before I actually get returned to the puzzle. Sort yourselves out before you have no business left at all!

However, unfortunately, low-quality advertising is sometimes found in the application. We are doing everything possible to block it promptly. If you see glitchy ads in the app, please, send an email to support@jigsawhd.zendesk.com and provide the screenshots of the ads so that we can identify the advertisers and block the ads. Changes & not for the better

I previously gave this app a positive review but I guess good things don’t last. It originally only had ads between puzzles, which was fine even when some were slightly long or even when they seemed to crash the app by not letting you progress beyond the advert.
Now I’m not doing the largest puzzles, so each puzzle takes me from 5- 10mins. Personally I think an ad every 5 or so minutes is reasonable for both parties, especially when it wasn’t interrupting play.
However, I discovered today that they’ve implemented ads mid-puzzle & not particularly long after the ad I watched before starting the puzzle. I have to wonder how many ads one would get on a longer/bigger puzzle. Interrupting play will most likely annoy many users, such as myself. As a result I have amended my previous 5 star review & will be deleting the app.
I don’t understand the developers decision to do this as they know positive reviews came from the way they handled ads initially - it seems short-sighted to me to then go against the feedback they received.
I understand they need to make money but then why not reduce the amount of free puzzles to encourage users to buy packs. Not more ads, which turn a lot of players off as they are irritating. Plus there is already a banner ad displayed throughout the game; it doesn’t encroach on play but it is still there & we are still exposed to that ad so why must we have more of them?

Kindly note that the Premium upgrade allows you to completely remove third-party ads from the app and create an unlimited number of your own puzzles. This is a one-time purchase that opens these functions for you forever.

I have got very bad arthritis in my hands and haven’t been able to do jigsaw puzzles the old way for years. Your exceptional program has enabled me to be able to continue doing with something that I love. Keep up the good work.🥰

I see there are a lot of people complaining about the ads mid game. I understand the reasoning behind this and would put up with them if the majority were easy to close down. Unfortunately this is not the case and I spend a lot of time trying to get them to close and being swapped back and forth between screens. A lot of times I actually have to close the game to get rid of them. Very frustrating as I have enjoyed your puzzles for years.

Ads are getting ridiculous

I play this game all the time when I’m stuck at home. I like to multi-task and it’s fun to do when you’re watching tv or listening to an audio book. Unfortunately, not only do you have to put up with multiple ads between games, but just today, they’ve begun forcing you to look at ads even when you put the game on pause. You can give them money and supposedly they’ll stop tormenting you but I won’t do that. It feels too much like blackmail. I bought a new puzzle pack last week but once I’ve finished it, I’m gonna delete the game. The ads have just gotten ridiculous. You’d think they’d be satisfied by the fact that you’re actually buying their games but not so. They need your blood money. Oh well, that’s what happens when you get greedy. Not only that, I feel a little vindictive when an ad or a series of ads ruins my favorite games and activities so I make it a point not to do business with any of the advertisers that have made my life miserable. Before today, I would have given them 4 stars. I frequently get interrupted and have to pause my game often so the addition of these new ads have effectively made this game useless to me. I think I'm being generous giving this game 2 stars. You’re welcome app developers. I’m gonna try to finish the puzzle pack I just bought from them but I’m honestly not sure I have the patience for it. What a waste!
The developers took the game play ads away for a while but now they’re back. I give up. I can’t do this.

Just got update 3.5.0. Since absolutely nothing is improved, I wish I could reinstall the previous version. It’s already rated 1 star for them never (in a year and a half anyway) bothering to fix a blatantly obvious bug that would be trivial to fix (and of course they STILL haven’t), so I can’t lower the rating for them putting in pointless roadblocks that make it harder to get to the puzzles the user created. (Previous comments:) A new update today from Veraxen, and once again puzzle sizes 20, 30, 56, and 80 pieces are in the statistics but impossible to play, a bug that would take less than five minutes to fix, not the year it’s been known to them. Yet another new update, and the annoying and obvious bug that would take less than 400 seconds to fix is STILL THERE over 400 days later. August 6th 2024, another new update, I’ll give you one guess which puzzle sizes are in the statistics list but impossible to play 14 months (420 days) after they knew about it, instead of being fixed in 7 minutes (420 seconds) like it should have been. October 2024, new update, YES!! They DIDN'T take five minutes to remove the unplayable sizes (20, 30, 56, and 80 pieces) from the statistics, so that can ONLY mean they spent an hour to finish implementing them and you can FINALLY pla... oh. Never mind; rating unchanged.

At the moment, we still haven't come to a definite result, and therefore the options still remain in the statistics. Annoying ads and update changes

I have been playing this app for years I find it really relaxing and there are plenty of puzzles to play. Unfortunately there have been changes to the app that are annoying and have not improved the game which is why you update. Also they have increased the volume of ads. I would not complain if the ads are in between games but these ads appear while you are doing a puzzle. Super annoying and not very relaxing, the other disappointing thing is how the app developers have responded to other reviews that complain about the increase of ads. (Yes there are many more complaining about the increased ads) they have suggested that you purchase the game for a low cost (I’ll give them that) and the purchase game is ad free!! This is not the point if I wanted to purchase a game I would have along time ago. I will just find another game that is free. I’m sure I’m not the only one that will find another app that is free that doesn’t have ads during a puzzle. This doesn’t not make the game relaxing it increases your frustration so why would you continue to play a game that annoys you.
Developers you are going to lose people playing this game because we will find another app to play. If you think it will get us to buy it you are wrong most people will leave. Watch the number of people playing this free version decrease because us long term users will go👋
