Only your imagination sets the limits for what you can create! • INSPIRING PAINTING TOOLS • Be as creative as you want with inspiring out-of-this-world painting tools like 3D-Shaded Brush, Halo Brush, Plasma Chain Brush, and Translucent Brush. It also has Lighten and Darken tools, a tremendous help when you want to add some depth and life to your drawings. • FINGERTIP = STROKE SIZE • When you paint, the app measures how much of your finger is touching the screen and changes the stroke size accordingly. A 2nd tool assigned to your finger will still use this feature, so don’t ignore it just because you have an Apple Pencil! • LEFT-HANDED? • Just swipe the toolbar over to the other side! • PARAMETERS CAN BE CHANGED LIVE • Use any buttons or controls to change/adjust color, size, force, simultaneously while painting. • UNIVERSAL PURCHASE • If you choose to buy the Pro upgrade, this one-time in-app purchase will unlock all Pro features in the app on all available platforms (iPad-iPhone-Mac)! • METAL • The engine is based on Metal, with 128-bit color and floating-point arithmetic. • SWIFT • The app was developed entirely using Swift (earlier versions used C++). • APPLE PENCIL SUPPORT • FULL SCREEN PAINTING • • DARK MODE • LANDSCAPE • PORTRAIT • WIDE COLOR • • MULTIPLE LAYERS • PHOTO TRACING MODE (Pro feature) •

  • Fun doodle app for glowy artworks

While I prefer Lux Draw over all I think as this developers glow art focused apps go, Cosmic Brush is fun and good for neon effects! Keep in mind that despite the two apps having the same format m structure, and functions, they do not share brushes and you will have to purchase them both separately if you want to get a reasonable number of layers and functions for both sets of brushes. Really, the two apps should have been one with a scrolling tool bar.

Still, it’s enjoyable. I’d suggest try out both apps, see which one you like better, and upgrade that one.

    Color modulation is great.

  • Too small.

Years ago there used to be a great app called cosmic painter. It has vanished from the App Store and I was hoping this would be similar. It is not. As for being a simple drawing app it also disappoints. The toolbar is too small for hands and it vanishes without reason. It’s a mystery as to what retrieves it. I have used a lot of of other drawing apps and some others are much more intuitive. Took longer to write this then to delete the app off my phone.
