Sometimes members choose the wrong gender by accident when signing up, which can also explain why you're seeing male members. The idea of meeting new people sounds fun until you realize you can hardly say anything about yourself. It’s not even enough to get many to message. You only get about 5 options as flare or subjects but there’s many more to choose that makes difficult to choose. Then only using a few lines to say something short. Many I see don’t even know what to start with or say. You have to figure out how to entice and many of us aren’t in sales to attract someone enough to get them to approve and match. We need more options and more space. I’m canceling my membership based on this. Your main decision making comes to whether you like their main pic, only a few sentences, and a few subjects they chose to describe themselves.Show lessYesdnyl99

Start of by saying thoroughly loving the Plans feature, keep that as it is. I get it’s a new app, but frustrated with how I can really only swipe five/ten profiles and then you can’t few anymore for hours, and it’s a real struggle to find and even go through the profiles that have expressed an interest. Got to pay so much money just to try and find a friend, or have a chat, even after matching and being timed out, feels wrong. Get rid of the time limit after matching. banned when my account followed all the rules and i had paid for a week of premium to try it out, i only had a few matches and conversations and all were going nicely, my bio was really simple with nothing inappropriate, truly only on there to make friends in my city so no flirting or anything, and only two photos on my account one of which was my dog?? all i can think is that since i had it set to women and men, a man has reported me because i rejected his match or something :// kind of gross that bumblebff allows abuse of that feature with no appeal process, and now the couple of potential friends i made will think i ghosted them
if i can ever get a new account i'll only have it set to women, shame a minority have to ruin it for othersShow lessEvie😜😍

the men who cannot afford travel mode are ugly and probably shouldn’t be on the app if they can’t afford it, girls look for a man that can travel like that means they’re paying to use the app, which means they will actually check their phone for notifications because most of these men are lazy and don’t check notifications before the 24hrs is up like that’s your loss, man. plus the app is majority men now, which is why it’s slim pickings for attractive men. just look outside the United States if you can afford to travel, American men are all broke anyway lol.Show lessElloKaleidoscope

Couldn’t get past the add photo part. I try to upload a photo and just get three dots. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded again, I’ve updated my phone. Nothing works.munchigator

This app for years now has been glitchy. When you open chats to first send a message it constantly freezes and I have to close the whole app to restart it - trick I’ve found around this is when you go on to a chat with someone open the camera icon (as if you was going to send a pic but don’t) and then type your message. Mentally I have been cataloging various failures on the part of Bumble. Ages ago it was a worthwhile dating app. However, as of the past few years… it definitely has gone downhill.
The Bantr effort was good on paper, but in practice the men I would chat with either denigrated me to an object since there weren’t any images, and were already making very sexual remarks from the get-go, OR they were patronizing from the start OR talking with them was like trying to herd cats. Beyond that, Bumble on its own hosts some of the most egotistical men I have ever matched with on a dating app which seems sensationally out-of-character considering the reason for its creation. Lastly, their efforts at competing with other dating apps seem woefully pathetic and lacking in imagination. My “Opening Line” does not automatically send, nor does it allow me to copy and paste to send or something of a similar vein. You would think this “invention” would not require one to retype the entire question each time, but it does.
I think that paying for Bumble is not worth it, and now I am simply fed up with the app altogether. So downloading it does not seem worthwhile at this point either.Show lesswhitiegurl
