Perfect GPX viewer
Exactly what I was looking for, simple GPX viewer, with no annoying extra features with useful stuff behind subscriptions (think Komoot/Strava/AllTrails). Also reads GPX waypoints far better than Strava - way better for bigger files. Just spent a week in France cycling 700km down the Eurovelo 1 route using this app and it was very simple and easy to follow. The offline feature was super handy, with the map automatically caching whenever I had good signal. Having the elevation profile was also super useful. The only minor thing would be to slightly expand the radius that picks up your location to put it on the elevation profile as it didn’t always show up there even when we were along the route. Another addition could be to show progress along the route - same as when you tap on your point along the elevation profile, but show this elsewhere as well. Thank you!

Direction lacking
This app is wonderful for outdoor navigation, but a simple feature that makes a huge difference is lacking, i.e. showing an arrow to show your direction instead of a simple dot. The developers are better to release an update for this

It’s already possible: simply tap a second time on the location button. It will rotate the map in your direction.
Beautiful and functional
Very high quality app with all the features I was looking for, chiefly the ability to display a file containing both a track and waypoints. Easy offline map download and a great elevation graph. Looking forward to using it on an upcoming cycle tour!

No option to switch to km?
I can't seem to find a way to switch to metric distances. That's a pretty basic requirement.

It automatically use the measurement system of your device. If your iPhone is set to metrics, it will automatically use metrics. EDIT: I have add this feature in new 2.0.6 version. Enjoy!
Fantastic app to follow a GPX route
I used GPX Viewer for several years and have just loved it. So awesome to load up a GPX file and see where you are on the course.
