  • Fun way to learn!

You know those really annoying in-app ads in other apps, like Duo Lingo? The ones where you think, it looks fun to swipe and rack up points with great sound effects and cute graphics, but what a waste of time! Now, imagine you were swiping away, having a ball, and actually learning a really important aspect of Chinese! That’s this app. You’ll love it. And you should definitely pay the incredibly fair in-app purchase to support it.
  • Maybe this will actually fix my tone problem

When I first started studying Chinese, my teacher told me that tones are the least important aspect of Chinese (yes, she was very wrong). So I focused heavily on solving HSK tests but didn’t pay much attention to tones. Boy was it a costly mistake. And that was over 10 years ago!! During this time I was desperately searching for an app that could help, tried memorizing tones with flashcards but nothing really worked. But then I found this app. I think that’s exactly what I was looking for. I love that it also tests your tone recognition with a context. I purchased a yearly subscription, so I’ll add a review a year later!
  • Nice!

So I have had trouble with my Chinese tones and this app helped TONS! I feel like I’m speaking better Chinese now! Thanks!
