  • Project Power Is AWESOME!

    Project Power is a program full of free advice tips and tools to help you with diabetes or pre-diabetes. The food log, exercise tracker and blood glucose log in the app are particularly helpful, but you also receive a free Withering watch and scale that sync to the app. The watch helps track your daily steps, your heart rate and your sleep patterns and the scale does both your weight and BMI.

    I have learned so much in this program that it would seem overwhelming if I tried to list it all in this review, but I promise you that the program is in no way overwhelming. As our coach Tracy said, just make one small change at a time.

    Those small changes have led to a lifestyle change for me and 30+ pounds lost so far.

    My A1C is now under control and my doctor asked me what I was doing differently. I told him, Project Power. Now he is recommending it to other patients!

  • App is very user friendly

    Very easy to install and use. Great for keeping you accountable to your goals for healthy eating and an active lifestyle. Combined with the informative videos and coaching advice/encouragement, the app is a great tool. App updates, such as being able to add frequent foods all at once instead of individually and being able to easily modify goals during the course of the program, would be welcome incremental improvements. A very useful app!

  • Project Power Program

    Project Power Program has created a healthier lifestyle for me. The app has many healthy tools: a food log, health monitor, access to short informative videos, habit tracker and a discussion log. The food log was great because it allowed me not only to count my calories, but it increased my awareness of the foods that I was eating. The tool showed me that my meals contained too many fatty foods, so I selected healthier meal choices which resulted in a decrease in my fat intake. The videos focused on methods to manage and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
    Coach Susie was great. She never made anyone feel embarrassed or shameful. She always pointed out ways to assist one in making healthy choices. During a team meeting, I informed the group that I have trouble giving up butter. Coach Susie suggested I try Smart Balance which is a healthy option to butter. I tried it and I now use it instead of butter!
    I have lost 10 pounds and am continuing to lose weight. I weigh myself daily, walk daily and have joined a gym. Project Power is great and I have recommended to my family and friends.

  • Project Power Program

    I am so grateful that someone shared this program with me. It has been so beneficial, the teaching, the encouragement to help each and every participant to know the knowledge they we’re given is helping our health. Thank you Coach Tracy, for you are truly an inspiration for us to know that we too, can accomplish greatness together, and helping each other to be accountable for our success. I have now shared this program with family and friends. I’m so excited that my results have encouraged my husband, my best friend , my sister and my church family to know they can to take control of what and how we eat. I pray that this project will continue on and on and on because it is necessary for others to gain the knowledge I now have and it has and will continue to make the difference in my health. Thank you all for playing a role in this journey of my life. As coach, Tracy said exercise does not help you lose weight , although it is good for you, it is what you put on your plate that helps you lose the weight.

  • This App has changed my life for the better 🩷 it

    ADA has created an incredible program called Project Power to help people first minimize the risk of getting Diabetes and second help people living with Diabetes to maintain good health as well as improve their health. Both groups can use this app in the same way. It is a game changer, you can monitor your food intake with the Food Log as it calculates the calorie, carb, fat, sodium and protein for every food you eat so you can stay in a healthy range of eating. I could not believe how much fat was is in so many foods and the sodium in pre packaged foods. Now I eat much healthier and have been losing 1 to 2 lbs a week. You can also set activity goals, receive reminders and track daily activity goals to improve health. They also assign a Coach to work with you. Coach Susie was amazing. Everything is inclusive fed in the app and you can track progress in the app. App is very easy to use and the program is life changing for me.
