Misleading

I did free trial, but only lets me study languages. Especially when it said I could add more later. Very disappointed

Response from developer

Hi, If you go to the Store and click on “Change”, you will find the “General Knowledge” Shop, which also includes multiple Geography, Science and History lists. When clicking on that “Change” button, you will also shops to learn 9 different languages. If you reach out via mail, I can send you a video of how it works. Best, Klemens

Pleasure to use

Beautiful design and interactions! Hoping this will help Spanish stick

Great app with a unique study approach

Interesting way to learn new things!

Thank you for the kind words! :)

A very helpful study tool kind of like gamified flashcards

I currently use Study Snacks to practice language learning in Chinese and it’s very helpful for me to use its custom features to study my vocabulary lists. The app helps me practice when I have 5 minutes here or there on any of my devices, including Vision Pro, iPad, and iPhone. The 3D effect of the bubbles makes the memorization and practicing more fun. It’s like a mini-game.

Great creative way to study language, but some bugs

Really nice graphical and fun way to study language like flashcards that are sub-broken down into characters.

Works well for Chinese (I do full manual loading)

The only thing I cannot figure out is how to share lists between devices. They don’t seem to sync up so if I make a list on an iPad, it doesn’t show up on my iPhone or MacBook. Maybe I am missing something.

Additionally, when manually creating a list, it is not possible to use the arrow keys to change text in a text box. You can only delete or replace characters on the right side of the text box. I find this frustrating. Also if the words are English characters, the first character on the left of the textbox is forced to be a capital letter, but I don’t want all my words to look like Proper Nouns.

Great concept though!

Not helpful

No contextual help in this app. It’s not clear how to use it.,

Daily repetition is really helping me learn!

I love this app! The reminder to study everyday have helped keep it in my mind! I also love the options And the fact that you can learn different languages at the same time!! The ONLY thing I’d ask to be added is that pronunciation! I have no idea if I’m saying it right! It’s a big pain having to go to Google just make sure I’m saying things right…

Response from developer

Hi! Thank you for this nice review! As for the pronunciation - This is planned to be added in a bigger updated soon :)

Racism

Why are only the United States European countries and cities and Asian countries and cities the only geography on here to study and no African countries city’s or languages no dark skin peoples country cities or languages I’m definitely deleting immediately

Response from developer

Hi, Super sorry, I definitely did not want to make that impression! A list for "African Countries & Capitals" was already planned, but I moved it forward. So you should already be able to access it right now! Not including this list in the first release is definitely not a sign of racism, but just me having limited time to create this content. I'm very sorry for making a wrong impression here. Best, Klemens

It stuck

When I tried to get to the app it kicked me out nothing happened like this before. I would have really liked the app if it worked.

Response from developer

Hi! Sorry to hear that! Could you send me a mail about that? Would like to figure out where it stuck so I can fix it! Thanks!

Thank you from a College Student

I normally don't write reviews on the app store, well, this is my first review, actually. I felt like it was about time I wrote one, and I've decided to do one for this app.

I'll try and make this as short as possible so as not to bore you, but I make no promises. I am a blind user, and as a student, I can't just sit around and read words over and over again. I'll never memorize the definitions that way. I'm sure others can, but I'm not one of them. I'm a college student who is currently taking a course in medical billing and coding. As of now, one of my classes is pharmacology, and already there are so many terms to memorize. I came across your app on AppleVis, and thought I should give this a try, since the description sounded wonderful. I love turning the learning of vocabulary into a puzzle! I get satisfaction from getting the word correct, and I don't even mind that I have to input the words and the definitions manually. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this app as accessible as possible, and ensuring that when there's a new releae, accessibility isn't broken! You are an amazing developer; keep up the good work!!!
