  • Great game! Could use a little love on the mobile side.

iPhone 13 Max Pro iOS 16.0 (so not the latest update) - will get random frame drops when there’s lots of enemies on the screen, unsure if it’s just cause the phone can’t handle it or cause of optimizations. Would love to see the black translucent bar on the bottom of the screen gone if possible. And would honestly love a paid version to get rid of the (optional) ads all together. Other than that, amazing port and glad to finally have the true VS on mobile!

Edit: the other reviewer mentioned this also, but the game does not pop up as the top result when you search by name on the AppStore just FYI. I’m sure it has to do with all the other wannabe games using Vampire Survivors as key search words or something.

  • The real Vampire Survivors

Thank you Poncle for bringing the REAL Vampire Survivors to iOS. I love this game so much that I play it every day on steam and now I can finally play it on iOS. This isn’t a 3rd party clone of vampire survivors that has been on the App Store but the real Vampire Survivors! I am so grateful that this has been ported to iOS! So far I haven’t run into any ads, but regardless please add a way to donate to you for this amazing game! There are no micro-transactions, no stamina that limits how much you can play, all of the ads are optional and unobtrusive, and it plays amazing with a touch screen. This is how mobile games should be! Thank you again Poncle!!!

  • Prone to freezing and session loss

The game itself is great. I’ve played the original on steam and while the touch controls aren’t as smooth as using a joystick, they work just fine. Aside from a few minor gameplay tweaks to optimize for a vertical screen, it’s exactly the same.

The ONLY thing keeping off that fifth star is the app itself. The game has frozen on me at least three times, twice with a Magic the Gathering ad. Those specifically always seem to freeze the game at the end, so if you revive with an ad and see MTG Arena pop up, say goodbye to your session. Additionally, if you hit the home button and leave the app suspended too long, it automatically resets and you lose your session. This is REALLY annoying for a mobile game where the session time is set at half an hour, which is REALLY hard to commit to on a mobile platform. If this game preserved sessions better (maybe with a suspend run feature) I’d give it 5 stars. Still the great game I love, but not optimized for mobile.

  • Finally!!

I bought this game on steam a couple months ago and I never really got heavily into it just because of its pick up and play nature. If I sat down with it and played it for a while I’d usually switch to something else after a while and wouldn’t come back for a couple days or so…HOWEVER putting this game on mobile is the smartest moves the developers could make. this game suits mobile devices perfectly and is super super fun :)

  • Poe is my man

I love this game. The fact it is free on mobile is absolutely ridiculous considering how cheap this is on steam. Please support poncle and purchase the $7(aud) game on steam because it is truly a crime to give away something this excellent. I love vampire survivors. I love poncle. I love 🧄
  • Goty

Coming from someone who has a 100% completion of all the current content of the Steam Release, you need to know that this is one of my favorite games of all time. Everything is just so brilliantly made in the original version, and this port is quite literally exactly the same as the original game. No catch. I think everyone should immediately drop that *other* survivors game on Mobile and switch to this. The devs deserve all the love and support in the world.

  • Gold Standard for IPhone Games

Other IOS developers need to take notes. This game takes me back to the golden age of app store games on my IPod touch. The goal was to make a quality product that above all else, is fun. Nowadays 9 out of 10 games have some sort of cash grab implemented and it is disgusting. It severely takes away from developers even caring about their games being fun anymore. This game does everything right.

  • Great game!

I’ve been waiting for this game to go mobile for so long I can’t believe it’s finally here! Ads are only played if you want a second life after dying, not too bad considering it’s a free game. Although there are still some updates missing, the game already offers so much, it’s so fun it can get borderline addictive especially when you start getting the hang of it! It’s easily 5 stars, thank you developers for making it free and not letting ads ruin the experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Absolutely one of the best games out there!

WOW!!!! This is FREE?!?! I can’t seem to find any hint of micro-transactions. That’s insane.

For those who somehow do not know, this game is brilliant. It is essentially a dopamine-factory – beware playing, because it is SO addictive and fun to play. The premise is simple: you just move around, avoiding the increasingly mad swarms of enemies. Your character shoots/attacks enemies automatically. It sounds like this is super limiting and would get dull fast. But it doesn’t. It simply never gets old!

I’ve played this game on my SteamDeck for dozens upon dozens of hours, and genuinely would pay again and again for it. It is amazing to have now on my phone too. I hope it is successful in finding a whole new audience! Enjoy 😁

  • The One and Only.

I’ve spent over 100 hours playing this on Steam. I’d forgotten how HARD it is at the beginning! Lol!

So, basically the point of this game is to break the game and be as over-powered as you possibly can. There’s so many things to unlock, so many funny weird bits of lore, it’s the first game in ages that I found legitimately FUN. There’s so much more to it than it first seems, and all of the clones I tried in the App Store before this was finally released fail to capture that. They get the basics of the gameplay, but none of the Holy Cow, There’s MORE? “Secret” characters, weird levels, it’s just so fun.
