A literal life saver of a service.
I live in a regional area where it is notoriously challenging to get in to see a GP and the closest ED is always a very long wait.
The process with Updoc is so streamlined, easy and efficient, and I absolutely prefer it over the traditional way of going in to the clinic (if I could get in) and being around sick people unnecessarily. A literal life saver of a service.

SCAM!!!
I used this app to make a one-time payment for a medical certificate but ended up being signed up for a subscription without my clear consent. Despite the company claiming their subscription model is transparent, I felt they were taking advantage of users by making this option easy to overlook during the payment process. It’s unfair to assume people would want a subscription for something as unpredictable as needing medical assistance. What’s worse, they charged me even though I hadn’t used the app beyond my initial transaction. I strongly advise anyone considering this app to be extra careful during checkout.

Nothing exacerbates illness like the anxiety caused by slow response times when help is needed most. Thank you, UpDoc, for providing calm in the storm. I can rest easy knowing that when things get rough, experts are on hand to assist.
Useless and frustrating- waste of $
I paid for a telehealth, put my health concerns in and waited for my call. No call came, but I recieved a medical certificate signed with three initials that were different to the printed doctor's name. The handwriting was poorly formed and was definitely a child. So I thought someone took advantage of updoc, and I'd let them know and they would resolve it -but no. I have sent 5 messages with photos and got the standard recognition email, and two others saying that it has been resolved but in no way addresses my complaint. So I paid, got no telehealth or medical advice, didn't get the script I requested, and got an unusable certificate, plus lots of frustration and run around while I'm unwell. Don't do it to yourself.

Improve the app
service by the dr is good but the app is very poor from a UX perspective. Loops around, hangs and stalls, tells you your medicare details are incorrect and you refresh page or go back and forth from screen to screen and it processes.
also the scripted questions dont correspond to the service you request. For example… i chose the reason why i want to speak to a dr was to review blood results… and then it defaults to a box where i have to explain what i want to speak to a dr about??

Absolutely wonderful and so helpful
Thank you so much for helping my son and I with referrals and information about our health concerns, as our regular doctor is all booked out for the nxt 10 days so Updoc was amazing. so quick and easy.

Life saver - money saving
This app has been a god send for me as I’ve been needing frequent medical certs after being sick the entire month. Saved me so much money and time from needing to go to my gp and using a slot that someone else might need more.
Don’t waste time or money with this app. Worst online dr app in Aus.
Don’t waste time with this app. Paid for subscription, got hung up on 4 times and been told I was a liar and aggressive for telling the drs that I can’t just go get a gp where dr at 9pm said a few good things and said I’ll get a mental health gp to give you a call tonight, so say and waited. Got a text at 1am saying I’m next in line, stayed up till 3 am still nothing. Had to re submit, had a talk with dr at 9am in morning, told me 2 different meds I’d benefit from, then she said oh but I can’t prescribe those you’ll have to go to a gp. And I am located in Aus due to staff-population issues I told the dr that, she said it’s fine just go down and get an app and wait for it then talk to the dr face to face about it then hung up on me claimed I was aggressive for saying I can’t get into anywhere local without driving 5 hrs to the city. And when I raised this with Updoc via email, their only solution was to cancel my subscription without talking to me about the issue and has now blocked my account for trying to get help! And won’t refund

Great service for amazing convenience
When you’re sick and can’t get in to see your doctor this has been a life saver. I know I can get a certificate at short notice if I suddenly need time off work.
