The Quiet Collections are the best. They are perfect for Advent, bringing a slow, quiet peace to a hectic, busy season. But all the other pieces of this app are great too. It’s the perfect place to come for a gently reflective space and find peace.
I was introduced to the app during Advent in 2017 from a friend in my prayer group.
Now, I use The Quiet Collection app each day during my morning prayers. I find listening to the combination of Emily’s voice and the music on the app comforting. This app has been an special blessing to my daily prayer time this past year. I enjoy both the Psalms
and Borrowed Prayers. This time of the year especially love the Advent collection.

in a noisy world that is all around us this Quiet Collecion is an answer to me and those I share with! The noise seems to be not just around us but in our body, our minds. There have been many times I have sought out Emily Freeman's voice and music to bring me into a place of letting down a bit, with deep breathes and big sigh of relief. She will ber a gift to you as she reads scripture along with story telling. and prayers. Her Advent collection has been a yearly tradition! She is a unique soul that has a extrodinary gift of peace.
This has been one of the best gifts (I got myself) this Christmas season! Soothing, calming, and the most beautiful messages and scriptures! I’m excited for what is to come, and know I’ll also listen to the Christmas collection throughout the year to come as well. I am so thankful for this app, Emily’s voice and beautiful way she reads and shares her writing talents. Love love love!
I can’t think of an adequate title for this review because this app/content is just too good. While most apps are created to be addictive in a detrimental way, this one is addictive in that it’s what your soul craves. To meet with Jesus, to hear from His word, to quiet your mind and heart for just a few moments— this is what our souls truly need. Emily has written and developed an incredible collection of peaceful meditations that center our hearts back toward Christ and who He is to us in all our moments, past, present, and future. I can’t recommend this app or the Christmas collection within it enough. I’m really looking forward to more content. And the music is so lovely as well! Thank you for this.
As per usual, Emily’s words and calming demeanor have met me right where I’m at. The Christmas collection encourages unique reflection on a familiar story, and invites us into a posture of presence during an otherwise distractible season.
I love this app! The quiet collection has been a favorite for a few years and the app makes it easier to find. I love the music and Emily’s soothing voice. Will previous years collections that we’ve purchased be available through the app? I’d love to have them all in one place!
