  • VPN only works when on home WiFi

    As mentioned in the title, the SafeShell VPN only works when used on home WiFi. It is not possible to establish a VPN while on the road using my T-Mobile service. In fact, my entire iphone stops having Internet Service when I start SafeShell VPN even if I only use it in App Mode.

    Here is the answer from their technical support team:

    Hey, my friend, upon checking, we found that the issue is likely due to temporary incompatibility with IPv6. Please try connecting using a different network. Meanwhile, our technical team is working on developing IPv6 compatibility, and I will keep you updated on the progress!

    Saw and ad and said it was free, nuh uh. Goofy little apps like this get you to download it by a scam and when you uninstall it its too late and they can say “#1 vpn app! One million+ downloads!”
  • Worst VPN server and pathetic after sales service.

    I bought an Apple Vision Pro, and for that purposes, I took the subscription. Each time when I tried to activate the subscription it says restore subscription. Multiple times I’ve approached them and each time they have failed to address the query and the sole purpose for which I had purchased this VPN goes completely waste. It is quite disheartening that I’ve written multiple messages and they don’t respond properly to any of them. It feels like they just exploiting the customers by stating that the VPN works with Apple Vision Pro. Unfortunately, it has not been happening and I hope others are not facing the same hellish experience.

  • Something is off! I’m somehow connected to Russia instead of Switzerland

    As mentioned in the Title, something is off with this VPN provider. I’m in the US and when I connect to Switzerland, none of the streaming services work and instead I use google and receiving a search result back from Russia 🤔

    This was a pretty good VPN that worked fine. Then I was forced to update and now it doesn’t work anymore. It’s a pity.
