Are you kidding?
I have three of their generators. They work great. I hav spent the past two hours trying to get this app to work. How does a company that makes such a good product have such a terrible app. Please fix it.
Update: finally got app to work. Pretty basic, but what it needs to control, it seems to do it ok. But, I could only get it to work by registering it through the website. Setting up through the app failed every time. Bringing up to 3 stars, but connecting with device is overly complicated initially.Show lessRenegade1212
Good app, wish it had one more feature.
Overall pretty happy. Wish it had the ability to set a alarm for when battery is at 25% or less and a notification for when it’s fully charged.
That’s all. Just needs a option to allow your phone to remind that is time to charge up or stop charging because it’s reached a level of charge that is acceptable to the user.Show lessAus10m

App will not run unless you agree to their scraping every piece of data on your device that they can. WHY DO THEY NEED MY LOCATION.? M y Contacts? etc.
They advertise this app as a product feature but then attach strings that cost my privacy.
Apple App Store says that the app does not scrape! You cannot use the app without scraping. Apple takes 30% for what ? This should never have been approved.

Immediate flaw
Your account can only be logged in on one device, I need multiple people to be able to monitor the Jackery, in addition the need to login to use the app really limits off grid usage. Multiple big fails if you ask me for a product of this nature. I was excited the battery itself has been refined enough for me to purchase but I’m severely disappointed in the app.Show lessDREWSASTER
Works as Described
Just bought a Explorer 1000 and a 200W solar panel to go with it. The app connected and set up the device to connect to WiFi without issue. All of the gauges function and correspond to what is displayed on the unit’s front panel. The control options are limited but the ones they give you seem to work most of the time. I think the only thing I’ve had issue with is toggling on/off the light. One time it didn’t turn off when I tapped the icon in the app. Guess what fixed it? I tapped on it again. I think the reports of non functional app controls have some other device to device communication issue going on, not a problem with the app.
There’s definitely room for improvement in terms of app feature set. Push notifications I think are a big missing thing as others have pointed out.Show lessliltechdude

Bluetooth connection has to be redone constantly. Have to unplug the solar panels before you can turn it off, to turn it back on the get the Bluetooth and WiFi activated again. Then plug in the panels. I hope the WiFi connection is better once I set that up. System was just delivered yesterday. Will update.Show lessdwages

I love my jackery and power my motorhome - which I live in full time. But the app constantly disengages Bluetooth and I have to go push the Bluetooth button on the power bank to reconnect every day- which completely negates the entire point of the app! Unless I’m missing something I’m not really sure why the app exists at all!Show lessstylinbean
Not sure what all of the complaints are about
Just received my 600 explorer and never even thought that there might be a companion app. Downloaded, setup account, connected to BT & WiFi. Easy peasy! Shows battery level and controls the light. Not sure what else it’s supposed to do, but that’s enough for me.Tre1122
