  • Time to fix the app, Jackery.

Bought a new 2000plus during the July ‘24 sale. Seems to be a pretty decent piece of kit.

This app is horrendous. Basically a repeat of what’s on the screen. Basic as can be. Basic, and still essentially non functional. Support says they‘re working on it. Then I check the App Store thinking to see the app was updated in the last few weeks. Well, guess y’all have been working on it for 3 months or so. I have a ton of improvements to suggest, but right now…? Just fix the basic reporting and connectivity issues. Make what you got work before adding bells and whistles.

  • Rarely works

This app rarely works lately. I have the jackery 1000 V2. The app worked fine for a few days after I downloaded it. Now, it does not. It shows 1% power no matter what the actual percentage is.
  • Useless

    App is useless.
  • Cannot sign in

When I go to register my account it said as email existent. (Terrible user facing exception language btw). And when I go to forget my password it says email non existent.

Cmon guys get your software together…
  • Love hardware. Hate app.

Why do I have to make a login? Why can’t you just manage device by pairing it? Worse, why do you require a login and then have the unmitigated gall to not persist me having logged in? Or at least implement support for Face ID? It isn’t hard. Want to buy a bigger unit, but I refuse to until the app is improved.

  • Can’t even sign up

Never received the welcome email to set up an account (double checked my email it is correct). Not sure why I need an account to monitor charging of a device over Bluetooth but there’s a lot of legal mess to agree with before doing so which makes me think it’s not for any good reason

Jackery, please support Sign in with Apple or better yet remove the requirement of needing an account. Seems like others have also had issues with this app. Maybe it’s still under heavy development, if so I hope it ends up being useful.

  • App crashes when I refuse Privacy settings

1st time Jackery owner here. I’ll update my review once I get the iPhone app to work. Current version crashes repeatedly when I Disagree with the initial Privacy sharing prompt :( so can’t use the app, at all.
  • Not impressed

We have a 3000 Pro, app states you can share with family. NOPE! I have on my phone and shared with my partner. Whenever they try to access the app, it cannot connect to the 3000 Pro. Looks like only one app can be connected to it. So what’s the point of being able to share? Non-existant directions in the app. Basically, all you can do is look a your battery, turn on some parts of the Jackery and see the temperature of the device. Disappointed.

  • Stop shipping broken software

The remote control buttons in this app have about a 50% chance of working and are extremely slow. Light, DC on/off, AC on/off etc. And the indicators on the app (light on/off for example) are usually inaccurate.

Someone was trying to hit a deadline and gave the green light to push this app without caring about it’s negative impact on consumers. Shame on whoever did that, probably not the developers.

Just got my first Jackery - 300 plus, and while I am liking it, this companion app left me salty. In addition to the bugs there isn’t much you can do with this app other than monitor the same stats shown already on the screen. Ideally you could do something useful like set alerts to notify on certain charging / discharging thresholds.
