Description of Dustbunny

Dustbunny is not just an idle game. Dustbunny is a warm, relaxing yet guided journey of reconnecting with your repressed emotions, where the emotions are cute creatures that like to hide. If you catch one and let it express itself, it can grow into a beautiful plant - some into extremely rare plants! Care for your plants with fun interactions like watering, catching pests and so much more - you can even sing for your plant. Relax with minigames like catching bubbles in your bubble tea. As your room becomes your safe space, you might encounter your inner child in the room's hidden depths. There was always a void inside your mind, like a sinkhole. One day, you woke up inside the void. You find yourself in a dusty, abandoned room, greeted by a friendly bunny who seems to hold the keys to the secrets of the room. There are some things you can do in this room. ⁕ Catch your repressed emotions ⁕ As you look around the dusty room, you might encounter Emotibuns - shy creatures that like to disguise as dustbunnies. They come from your repressed emotions, such as sadness, anger, anxiety, loneliness, and emptiness. They're extremely fast so you need to keep your eyes peeled and fingers ready! Once you catch and name an Emotibun, it will burst into its emotion and sprout into a plant. Each plant will have an ID card that logs your journey of care and growth. ⁕ Love your plants & yourself ⁕ What's your love language? There are over 20 different ways to love and care for your plants. Using Care Cards, you can do basic care like watering, catching pests, and feeding your plant, as well as actions like touching, singing, and writing to your plant. Each plant is one-of-a-kind and grows dynamically to communicate with you - they sparkle when healthy, get droopy when sick, and even jump out of the pots sometimes. As you learn to love and care for your plants, we hope to remind you to do so for yourself, too. ⁕ Collect rare plants ⁕ Each Emotibun sprouts into a unique plant species - it could be a common plant or the rarest unicorn plant. You'll be challenged to collect all the plants in the Plant Index. Rare plants have genetic mutation called variegation, which causes unique patterns on leaves. Advanced players can also unlock abilities to create one-of-a-kind hybrid plants. ⁕ Befriend Empathy ⁕ You'll be guided by Empathy, a friendly bunny with wings! Empathy will give you daily affirmations and stop by your room to share some wisdom about emotional regulation and self-love. ⁕ Get cozy with nostalgic objects ⁕ Every object is interactable. Play minigames with nostalgic objects in your room like bubble tea, plushies, and cup noodles. Some objects will help you relax; others will make you hold your breath! ⁕ Decorate your dream room ⁕ The in-game shop is updated daily with adorable decor options and furniture. You'll find anything from Ghibli-inspired cottagecore to mid-century modern. Create your dream room and share it with our community! ⁕ Complete your narrative ⁕ Uncover the story behind the room and the five emotions as you progress. You'll find yourself looking within to meet your inner child. Key Features ⁕ Name your Emotibuns and grow them into plants using +20 care cards. ⁕ No two plants look the same; plants grow procedurally in 3D. ⁕ Collect +30 popular & collector's plants and discover hybrid plants. ⁕ Lots of crafting! Craft treats for Emotibuns and composts for plants, all out of dust. ⁕ Interactive objects help you destress through gentle focus and tactile stimulation. ⁕ Journal with stickers and polaroid photos. If you like cute, cozy and relaxing games like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Unpacking, Cats & Soup, Helly Kitty Island Adventure, or other simulators, farm simulation, pet games, plant games, cat games, idle games, room decoration games, and mental health games, you might love Dustbunny. Reviews of Dustbunny

  • best cozy mobile game

i've only had this game for a few days now and i am absolutely in love with it. i adore every aspect of it. i could spend HOURS just watching my plants grow, feeding and watering them, collecting dust bunnies, and redecorating my room.

i love that the items in the shop change our daily so there's always something new to look forward to. i'm addicted to all the "minigames" that let you collect energy.

but overall, i'd say my favorite part is the empathy character. he says lots of wise words that i think about and reflect on outside of the game. this app really helps me enjoy the simple wonders of life and admire how beautiful things can be. i adore this game so deeply and i would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, cute, and comforting game.

    SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE
Personal review🧍🏼‍♀️: I really like this app in fact I don’t usually place reviews but this app was too good to pass up. I really like how how this game is fun 🤩 but also helps you concentrate on each emotion you feel and why you felt that way. It’s very calming and when I need to relax I play this game 😌
Ads: ads are one thing that we can all agree are very annoying😑. but this app has very few ads and for any parents who might be concerned 😟 none of the ads are inappropriate or not suitable for children
Gameplay: it’s a very cute 🎀game to help Work through your emotions and to focus at each one. Each plant 🪴 is a different emotion and you get to choose a name and word or color that makes you feel that emotion. There is a shop where you can buy decorations for your online space with money 💵 from the game. You can also add your friends by using a friend 👩‍💻 . Again for any parents it can’t be anyone online that you don’t know. If your kid has a friend they, and you know and they have this game also they can give each other their codes.
I really hope this review helped you find the info ℹ️ you were looking for and I think 💭 you will like this game! 🪴
  • Such a hidden gem

This is not the first review I’ve written about this game so I’m a little bit biased, but I just wanted to come back and say I really like how there’s new content being added and things are being worked with.

One note I may add is that I strongly dislike the change from placing individual green hearts to filling the bigger ones, I liked doing it one by one. I can see how others would prefer this method tho, maybe there could be an option?

Another thing I wanted to mention as a positive is how you can change a lot of different settings, not only can you turn the lights on or off but you can change the intensity of the brightness in settings and it’s been a godsend as someone with chronic migraines. I know being on your phone obviously isn’t good for a migraine but when you get one every day there comes a point when I need a game to play, and this satisfies everything I like in a game.

Collecting, growing, taking care of plants, and not having to worry too much about taking long breaks.

11/10, really looking forward to watching this game continue to grow
