So yeah I’ve beaten all the maps. For some reason, as you continue to play, some of them start to say not completed again in the progress card. Probably because I’ve played so many some are removing from history?
I think some of the hard ones are a not actually hard. I think the AI has some weak troop transitions, not very good at handling blitzkriegs. I think it should be tweaked for alliances to allow a second option of military alliance (keep marriage as peace only as it is now) similar to colonies at war.
I’m a long time player though I’ve played every single map on all the games on hard until they are easy so maybe it’s just easy to me. The only map I’ve ever struggled with is china reblllions on hard, that is alsmot impossible without contracts, due to the turn constraints and the amount of troops the rebellion has, plus the ship level and development level of
Britain makes it super hard to try to take naval control. But it can be done!Show lesstimbft

Hi thanks for your review and the bug report. Some games are easy and some are hard, so have you played the hard games and still think they are easy? [Added] I have an Expert level for you in the v4.00. it isn't finished yet, but limits your ability to build pop-up armies behind the enemy and surround him. I tend to do this myself and I don't think it's fair. it's still too easy to capture the enemy but until I come up wth something else this will do for now. Btw, have you played the French Indian War scenario (playing French)? now that is intense.Great Games
I’ve been playing your games for about a year or so now. I started on colonies at war then moved through the games. I have played three scenarios now for this game. I think it’s easy to figure out and use. Looks beautiful. There are some small bugs but nothing that stood out. I’ve been waiting for this game to come out for awhile. I really think you’ve done great with this one. But I am playing through the French Indian war right now. I do find the French Indian war to be more complicated but more fun. I like the resources and I think the map looks better. Resources and trading plus some political points seemed to make French Indian war more fun to play. I feel like I’m actually forming a country and not just burning and pillaging my way through. I’d love to see resources and the political side of the game return and come back stronger. Either way it’s an amazing game and I’ll keep playing them!Show lessThatoneman9599

Hi, Thanks for your review. I agree with you entirely. It took me 2 years to make FIW and it has everything. it's my favourite game too. But CAW has 10x the popularity of FIW and I found because it has a longer/harder learning curve most people who play on the iPhone just want a quick simple game. So that is why I started simplifying my games. I am thinking if I can add a 'Expert' level option that adds back all the development and management it may be possible to satisfy both groups out there. But it all takes time. Once again this dev has made a great game that is a ton of fun. Some challenges are easy and some are a challenge which makes it fun to have to try new ideas. Very similar style to their other games in a different time. The addition of leaders is interesting and adds to the challenge. If you liked their other games this is a must play and if you have not played any of them and like strategy games I highly recommend. Thanks for another great game and hope for more in the future!

I’ve been waiting on this game for so long I actually would check the developer website from time to time. There no other game developer on the App Store that’s making strategy games this good.
