For all the people having difficulties with the charger connecting to your car/charge port:
Possible Answer:
From what I have read online, the EVSE cables are heavy, and because of the weight of those cables, the charger/station will assume there is an issue with connection or your car.
Possible Solution:
After placing the charger inside the charging port of your vehicle, hold the charger cable (tube) up straight for 15—30 seconds to ensure charger is connected. This has worked for me each time I’ve used these EVSE’s. Hopefully this works for you too. Good luck and safe travels!Show lessAnother garbage proprietary ev system
I think there needs to be legislature passed to manage these charging stations and companies. These companies have got to be using tax breaks to set these systems up, but skim as much as they can off the top. This system is absolutely garbage. The UI on the charger and the app are trash and even their website does not have any meaningful help. I don’t understand why you have to go through a useless app with no functionality to even set up payments with ease just to plug in your vehicle. There is not even a readily available station number in the charger, which you need to work the app. Lame and another poor attempt to build brand loyalty by building junk and overly complicated systems. It’s like they want the government incentives without having to actually provide any service.Show less
