Love this game - controls are difficult
Battle map controls are difficult to master. There needs to be a big button somewhere to deselect selected units. Maybe I just need to practice more, but I find the battle map controls hard to learn. Would like more control over which gestures do what in the options. Great game though. Empire was always my favorite of the Total War series, and I hope they one day make Empire 2. So happy to have this on my iPad.

Amazing
To think we could actually have total war in mobile was a dream back than now it actually happen and we can do basically almost the exact same thing as we do on PC, I have both every total war game there is to buy now I can finally retire from gaming and actually enjoy this one game I love, thank you

I don’t get it
I’m not a stupid man, but this game makes me feel so. It is not intuitive at all. I feel like I’m just moving the map around and randomly clicking things in hopes that I might learn something useful, only to feel more frustrated than I did previously.
Perhaps there is a tutorial mode that I can’t find (because it’s not at all intuitive).
It shows that there is a pirate waging war. Okay. So how do I respond? What is my closest asset to that area? How do I move said asset? I can do none of this from the screen it shows me. I can just see that it is happening. Incredibly frustrating! When I move out on the map I can’t tell where that was. It says straights of Madagascar but the map doesn’t go to Southern Africa so how am I supposed to see Madagascar?
What am I doing? How do I do anything at all? What is beneficial? Conceptually I understand the goal. Practically, I can’t for the life of me understand how to implement basic actions, let alone do it with any modicum of strategy.

Best game ever but I would like u to add more settings for graphics in the game because on Pc they have more options than mobile also this game also has a unit cap on special units can u please remove that because I want to have more than 1 special regiment also are u gonna add more total war games like Napoleon?

Good but bad
It’s a good game, good graphics but horrible to play on due to AI just mass charging in every battle being stupid it’s really annoying please rework AI during battles, actually have them only resort to bayonet if they need to. If i wanted people charging 24/7 I would’ve ordered MKTW… it really is a disappointment as I was looking foward to this game, please do something about this

Really fun game! I have been enjoying total war medieval and total war Rome, so when I saw they came out with this one, I immediately downloaded it. I just have one request. If it is possible, could you do it with a custom battle option, just like the one in total war medieval?

Thanks for your purchase of MEDIEVAL II. You can set up a Custom Battle via New Game > Play Battle from the main menu.
AI need work and let us play the minor factions
You need to make the Ai more aggressive and make them actually defend there land and you need to make it to where we can play the minor factions I’ve already played all the major ones and combine with the trashy ai makes it so repetitive you need to either make us able to play the minor factions or fix the ai one has to be fixed otherwise I’m going to uninstall this game and I’m 100 percent sure that there are many other players with me on this all you gotta do is fix one of these and the game would be Sooooo much better please feral do something

AI need some work
In this game the Ai are to aggressive with charging one of the main factors I bought this game was to see the massive line battles and to see SOME melee combat but 90 percent of the time the enemy infantry will just charge into your line they will be hundreds of yards out and they’ll just charge you also the ai on hard and very hard need to be more aggrieved and I think that Prussia should start with canister shot because they are a more military focus faction also you should make it to where the player is able to choose minor faction or allow it to wear the game can be modded to include this feature but overall I think this game is pretty good thank you

I wanted to write review to thank the developers so deeply for producing these games for IOS. I loved them as a kid but don’t really have much time for laptop gaming now. Being able to play them on my mobile device is just incredible. I also want to thank them for staying true to the game and not betraying the fans (see age of empires… 🤢) and not creating some micro transaction soulless game under the same name. It’s amazing to be able to play this classic game that I loved so much again. Thank you!
