Got one as a gift. The temperature reading seems to be accurate. But you can go further than 5 feet away from the probe/box.

Short version that I hate to see this app get 2.8 stars. That’s not doing it justice! I love the app! It has a super easy interface, and all the features you could want. I love the graph of how it has gone up in temperature. I love the app, it’s easy to use, and definitely a 5 star in my book.the huddy

Not sure where the 1 star rate came from other reviews, but I recently purchased this product because I’ve been cooking more and more. Came across this probe and decided to give it a try. I love the ease of access and usage on this app. Very simple and straightforward app. Connects well and provides useful guides for cooking all sorts of meats, from poultry to beef and more.
