Stranded by endless downloading
The initial experience is incredibly frustrating and monotonous. One is forced to endure an endless, poorly drawn screen that informs them that the game will commence after downloading at least 12 GB of data. Despite the screen indicating that the download is in progress, I’ve observed a negligible amount of data being downloaded after an inordinate amount of time.
This functionality should not have been integrated within the game’s framework but would have been better implemented as a standard iOS user interface that provides real-time feedback on the download’s progress. This feedback should include the network rate speed, estimated completion time, and any potential issues and their suspected causes. This way, if one needs to contact the developer support team, one won’t be left guessing about the underlying problem. Based on other reviews and the collective frustrations expressed over the past few months, it’s evident that there’s a significant issue, yet it appears that no one is addressing or caring about it.

I like it !
J’adore jouer à DS, il est vraiment bien sur mon MacBook Air. Tout ce que j’espère c’est que DS2 soit disponible pour Mac le jour de sa sortie.
109gb of space
I’ve dropped a star as I have needed to delete the game and data as the stored data had doubled after iOS 18.1 update. No option to select and delete manual saves. I had a lot of manual saves, as often times the auto save was unreliable to the point where I could play for an hour or two where the auto save never saved so I then needed to redo the lost progress. So I would auto save after every delivery or mission. Still a great game. Looking forward to DS2.

amazing game
One of the best game ever, and runs perfect on the Mac Pro M2. 40 hours of pure great feeling.
Non-stop crashing on M4 Pro
Game crashes and kernel panic M4 Pro MacBook Pro, it reboot back into the game and work for about 20 or so minutes until you to bring uptime menu and it will crash again. Changing graphic settings will also freeze and instant reboot. It doesn’t seem to crash on the iPad Pro but I think I’m going to submit a refund request if I can’t play on macOS.

Great game and worth it
Running on an iPhone 16 pro max for reference with a backbone one (touch is serviceable but awkward). The game has been enjoyable and good so far. Textures and draw distances could be improved on the iPhone 16 pro max, as they do seem a little soft. Frame rates overall feel smooth. However there is currently a bug on iOS 18.1 causing the game to use up 107GB. Please could this be addressed in a future update as it is using up unnecessary storage! Otherwise a definite recommend, thank you for bringing this aaa game to iOS. Developers please keep the aaa games coming!

Just Amazing
It’s amazing how well this game runs on a 13” M1 MacBook Pro (nearly maxed out settings at 1080p) and runs perfectly on my iPhone 16 Pro. So amazing to finally have proper AAA games on these Apple Silicon devices. Such a great game too. Lets hope Apple keeps promoting developers to get on board, it will be great to get even more Metal optimised games.

Beautiful & Cinematic
I’ve somehow kept myself from knowing much about this game until now. And with the rain falling outside, this beautiful and eerie adventure seems a perfect vibe for right now. So far the story is very compelling and the way it’s told is stunning and cinematic, even on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The music and score fit the mood perfectly. And the challenge of traversing the landscape is the exact slow pace I’m in the mood for. Plus, when moments of tension arise, the juxtaposition feels even more intense.
My only issues so far have been when installing. It kept pausing saying I was out of memory despite having 135 free GB before installing. Thankfully when I just hit A a few times and continued installing a few times, it eventually finished. Having the prologue be free might entice more people to try this and persevere through the game’s huge download/install. Glad I kept at it overnight. This is going to be a story that stays with me, I can tell. Especially, right now as America faces an unknown future.
