  • Great turn based roguelike with dice

The game mechanics is incredibly captivating and smart. Although as a mobile game developer myself I see big monetization opportunities missed because of the sole inapp offer. And the price look too high. At least the description of what I get for the price is not convincing enough to me. Maybe explain in more details what you offer or decrease the price (my feeling is that similar games could cost 5-7 CAD. Now it’s 12 CAD in Canada which seems too much ). Or even better- utilize mixed monetization which proved to be more efficient in terms of revenue and retention. Players who like the game enough to purchase will purchase anyway. Those who like the game but not enough to purchase would not be churned away by the paywall. They could bring some revenue through unobtrusive rewarded ads (for ex. give choice of 3 random items instead of 2 if one watches an ad etc). Anyways great job creating the peculiar game design and I wish the game and its developer all the best that’s why I cared to write this long review 😉🤝
Oh and btw the game seems to be offline but it crashes on start if wifi is disabled (iPhone xs max, ios 17.1)

  • Extremely Fun Roguelike

I saw this on steam and decided to try the demo from the app store. My first play through was very enjoyable and I instantly bought the full version. The full game has a lot of features added to it, each play through would take me about 1hr - 1.5hrs.

    Thank You tann!
  • Incredible !

A hidden gem of a dice roguelike, the most fun I ever had on an iphone game.
  • Enemies that spawn enemies kill the entire flow and balance

Skeletons, imps, slates. Unless you have a very specific build or set of items then you’ll likely lose to them. The balance is thrown off entirely when they appear (almost every match) making winning a run feel impossible due slowly to them. This makes red classes extremely powerful and valuable which also restricts the ability to play in a fun or consistently engaging way.

    Otherwise the game is fantastic.

  • Perfect Game

If you’ve ever enjoyed a game with turn-based combat, you will love Slice & Dice.
  • Enjoyed the demo, but...

$9 is too much for a phone game, my limit is about $5. Even games I can play on my laptop have to work hard to be worth $15+, I'm just not spending this much on a phone game. If it was $2 or $3 I would have bought it instantly at the end of the demo. $5 maybe.
  • Copy does not work for TextMod

I want to copy the code behind a specific hero and item so i can edit them. Instead, it only copies the name "Coffin" and the item "Demonic Deal" and i have no gateway to entry on what the game expects from a readable mod if i can't even see what code it's using. Please make the copy function actually copy the code

  • What a surprise!

This is my new favorite mobile game. It takes a couple of plays to really get it, but definitely worth trying the free download.
  • More please.

I would love to see more games of this quality and without trying to abuse it players with micro transactions. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it to have a game good without the greed on it. I usually deduct one star for graphics I lived through the 80s and I’ve had enough of that. There’s no reason you can’t do better graphics, but in this case, they got at least six stars, so it covers it, something I have not given out in a long time. Download it support them pay for it.

  • Great game with generous customization options

Love this game in every regard minus one. Graphics are excellent pixel part the music gets you going to dice mods are funky and the game feels rewarding.

UNTIL you come across an opponent that spawns. Then every skeleton or imp that keep appearing just feels like a cop out. Those kind of drawn out long winded battles make red/healers feel more like a necessity than an option and ruin the flow of an otherwise exception game.
