love it but
i love this app! as an animation student it’s really helping to push my creativity :) one thing though, if possible please add the ability to zoom in on drawings. it can be quite awkward to draw certain details and shapes without it. but really awesome app regardless, thank you!
Very bad compatibility with Apple Pencil
No palm detected, no pressure sensed, nothing like advertised. Still a great idea though, hope one day there’s an upgrade version
A Perfect Creative Spark
As a professional designer, it is so fun to incorporate Dudel into my daily routine. It is refreshing to do something creative for creativity’s sake and I love seeing the amazing output from other “Dudlers.”
Fun daily creative exercise
Dudel has become a daily ritual for me. I look forward to the new shape every day. I look forward to taking a break from work to be creative. And I love seeing what everyone else does with the same shape over on the insta page. Super fun app for getting creative.
Pushes me to be creative and not worry about perfection
It’s so fun! My favorite is when I get a shape and a clear “aha - that’s what it is” doesn’t immediately happen. I often want to stop but push myself to find something I can draw and come up with the most fun (and admittedly terribly drawn) things. That helps me let go of perfectionism which is so joyful!

Low-risk creativity
It might sound silly, but sitting down to do something intentionally creative can be kind of anxiety inducing for me. It’s the perfectionism, I know. But Dudel gives me a super low-risk, fun way to be creative. The constraints are narrow, so I don’t have to create my own. I can just start. Plus the artwork is fun and inspiring, and the app is so clean and easy to use. Great, simple app.

Love this app!
I am so not a doodler, but I love this app! I’ve had a hankering for a while for a fun little task to practice and gain confidence in my visual sketching abilities. Dudel affords me the opportunity to playfully engage with the visual. It is exactly what it claims to be, but it’s design and flow are intuitive and perfectly on-point.

I love using this app in so many different contexts — whether I’m alone wanting a creative moment, with friends, with coworkers before we venture into a brainstorm. Highly recommend!
