Notifications and reminders no longer work
Great instructions, but app is difficult and clunky. Plus the key part of it isn’t working - notifications to move to next stage and recently brews have disappeared during the brewing stage.
Log in process is a bad indicator
Creating an account on the website was a breeze. Trying to use same credentials on the app, didn’t work as password rules are different. Special character, great idea. Now you get to guess which specific characters the app developer thinks are “special”. Exclamation works, periods don’t.

App has been excellent for me.
I’ve never used the old version of the app, so have no legacy issues. As a new Pinter customer I have found the app to be excellent and very helpful with step-by-step brewing instructions, calendar scheduling and links to Pinter Community and beer options. I absolutely love the Pinter system and the fantastic beer options and impressive results. I now have 3 units and highly recommend. 🍻

Not Well Thought Out
The login process on this app is the worst I’ve run into with any app so far. Way too buggy and way too secure for something just to track a brew cycle. Doesn’t even work half the time, so you can’t see where you’re at in the process. Additionally, once you get to the tapping process in your cycle, you completely lose the calendar telling you when you started the brew and did each phase. So if you’re wanting to track progress and take notes for future brews, you have to do that manually elsewhere. Liking my Pinters so far, but the app needs a LOT of work.

Password Problems
As others have stated it you create your account on the web first, then download the app, there are issues. I was able to log into the app successfully but it wasn’t easy.
The app has different password rules than the website. You have to go back to the website and change your password there to conform to the app rules.
The app doesn’t always give a good error message if it doesn’t like your password. For instance if your password has an underscore it doesn’t tell you that it won’t accept an underscore, it just fails and gives you the rules, which tell you to use a special character. Gee I thought underscore was a special character.
The app says “create an account” when you are trying to log in to an existing account. Confusing. But you can log in.
I cannot review the rest of the app yet because I’ve just managed to log in. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and give it 3 stars.

Honestly great all around
Bought one shipped n arrived in 2 days, emails n tracking awsome, app use and learnability easy , setup and brewing easy , cold crash and conditioning easy again, tapped it and was top notch. I bought one for brew and were now unloading the pinter into 3 growlers and restarting both ours same day as tapping. If you buy 12 reusable top pint bottles , 18 12oz reusable bottles or 3 growlers u can empty on tap day and restart every 14-15 days

Not as Functional as it was
Whilst the graphics and guides are suburb, the real issue is that core information (state of brew, brewing calendar (frequently) and most importantly notifications) are not. Pretty crucial to get reinstated as a matter of urgency that all worked perfectly on the previous version. Disappointing as the concept is brilliant!

The Pinter app is super useful for managing my brews. I think I’d forget to move to the next stages without! A must have if you’re brewing

This app is a good companion to the Pinter brewing device. Nice clear instructions with step by step directions and pictures. I didn’t have any issues logging in ether an existing account.
