Do not use

I opted in for a one month trial and cancelled and deleted the app but they have continue to take random payments from my account. There is no easy way to cancel as I did not subscribe so it does not show up on my Apple subscriptions. This is a scam.

Scam and fraudulent charges

This app has been scamming people and Apple does nothing to prevent this! This is unacceptable! Go to Better Business Bureau and read hundreds of the same complain - they sell you a one-time payment for access and then - without prior notice start charging you a monthly subscription - worse- they charged me 2 months at once. There’s no info about your supposed subscription, no way of opt in/out, no clear info about such agreement - I haven’t seen a single email about my supposed subscription. Oh, of course: the only thing is clear in their customer service tha’t a No refund police. So they charge you a subscription that you did not enrolled for, they cannot give info about that or any proof uou have signed up for that, charge you at once and - look how ironic - give no refund. If it’s not theft and a big huge scam, I don’t have a better name for this!

Mediocre and Overpriced

For the initial month I thought this was overpriced, it turns out that the price doubled after ($30 USD per month), and that’s RIDICULOUS, cause there’s nothing you can’t get from this app that you wouldn’t get from buying a notepad and keeping track of your mood yourself. Save your money from another health purpose, go to therapy, I don’t know, but this is just another money grab. Oh and god forbids you’ll have to deal with their customers service.

If I could I would give them zero star

SCAM ALERT! Double charged and no refund!

I signed up for a ONE-MONTH subscription for $15. A month later, they charged me $30—DOUBLE the amount! I have no idea where that number came from, and I was never notified about this extra charge.

I reached out to their support team the SAME DAY to request a refund, but their response was that they “can’t refund because the product was delivered.” Of course, it’s a digital app—that’s a lazy excuse! I only used it for a few days, and the app itself is awful.

This is completely unauthorized and shady. BEWARE of this scam! They charge you double and refuse to fix their mistake. They will never refund you!!!!

Subscriptions renewed without any notification

I downloaded this app a year ago (£54 for a year) but deleted the app after a few months as I wasn’t using it. Today I found that the subscription has been renewed and another £54 has been taken from my account ….. the problem is that the Brainway app is not listed under subscriptions (apple) so there is no way to see that the subscription is going to be renewed and there have been no notifications/contact from Brainway telling you that subscription is due and so there is no opportunity to cancel the subscription before it is due.

My initial communication with Brainway requesting they refund the money they took without my permission and to cancel my subscription & remove all details is totally unsatisfactory.

The print is too small and I can’t read it or enlarge it! Every nickname I chose was taken! It was taking too long. I was being thwarted rather than helped!

Only download this if you are able to track your day

This app promises to boost your productivity, but the time ask of it would be counter productive for me. Logging every second activity is not useful at all!
I am saddened by how misleading this app can market themself and then there is no refund.

I reckon this is a scam

Do not buy!
I should’ve read the reviews first. Plus, I should know by now - not to be taken in by facebook/insta deals.

I feel this programme is not personalised at all.

And there is no facility on the app to cancel or request a refund - or rather there appears to be one, but the info can’t be read as it’s bigger than my phone’s screen.

So if you’re taken in by it, then email them.

I hopefully have cancelled my month’s sub. But no refund they say as it’s a digital purchase - fair enough.

One star is for the prompt reply to my email. But I repeat. Do not buy.
