  • Well Polished Out the Gate

I’m very impressed with how well done the game mechanics are right away. Advancements aren’t locked behind pay walls, and it’s fun just to play even with just the base characters. I’m enjoying the art, the music and the story so far. This is densely packed with a fully filled out story and characters that I think rival modern rpg’s. If you’re like me and always casually wanting to play sprite based strategy games like FFT:WoTL or tactics advanced then I think this game is worth jumping into.
  • Another Predatory Gacha IAP Cash-Grab

A decent tactics style game plagued with predatory micro-transactions and low drop-rate gacha gambling practices. 2% “increased” legendary character drop-rate for gacha. More micro-transactions for leveling Another seasonal battle pass. Another monthly card to buy to currency. Free currency versus purchased currency. Currency purchases the don’t quite line up properly so you’re forced to over-spend if you want to make IAP. There’s an energy system that only allows you to play 8-ish missions before you have to spend currency to recharge. I can’t wait for China and other countries to start banning these predatory and scummy practices.
  • It’s easy fun and has potential

It’s been honestly fun to play this game the chances on pulls are really good I never feel cheated by it since I’m mainly a free to play player it really is a pleasant part of the game.
The voice acting is pretty good too feels like I’m playing an anime mobile game. Love the UI the unit structure the rank up and level up systems offer reasons to keep units on your team
  • Great Turn-Based-Tactics Game!

Have played for a few days around 13 hours and am loving it. Great art style, combat, music etc. standard mobile Gacha elements which I could do without but like with most games you can ignore the paid store and since this is 90% a single player game, you don’t need to spend if you don’t want to. Tons of fun though!
  • Great game, store is extremely expensive

This could be a five star game easily if the in app purchases were not so expensive. You need to buy gems to buy other gems to spend gems.

However, that is not the main problem. While the events do last for 30 days like most games. Right now they have 5 ongoing events at open. Each one not connected to the other.

So right here you can spend over 100 U.S. dollars on premium items during events. Do you need them no… but it’s nice to do a single game pass monthly style setup instead of this mess.

Anyone saying you can truly play for free is delusional and deceiving themselves and you. No one plays a game long term without eventually wanting something.

But the main issue they need to address is the store, buying most currency to participate in one event is 30 U.S. dollars, that is extremely expensive and ridiculous.
  • The framework of a good game hobbled by needless dark patterns.

There is a good game buried somewhere under all of the typical mobile game dark pattern filth, it just takes some digging to get there. It feels like a classic Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced game at its core, though with the job system replaced by your typical mobile gacha character pull system. There’s a story attached to it with some interesting time loops, although I found myself skipping most of it. The music and graphics are beautiful and on par with said FFTA. Unfortunately for all the good this game has, the developers came over and dumped a bucket of ice cold mobile game design all over it. You’ll find all the classics here: Energy System, 100 kinds of currencies, Gacha, Daily Quests, FOMO Events, Lotteries, and all fine-tuned to bombard you with a never-ending dose of dopamine. It’s the type of game I’ve wanted for years, except it’s lousy with mobile game monetization.
  • Another soiled diamond

What can I say? Voice acting? Phenomenal. Art style? Breathtaking. Music? Revivifying and nostalgic. Gameplay? Fun and dynamic. Story? Well story isn’t that good but it passes which is enough for me. The time-gated story is better though. You know what you’re getting into if you’ve played any FF Tactics or Tactics Ogre, it’s that kinda game (but gacha). Unfortunately it is EXTREMELY greedy and unforgiving with the monetization. Pity is set at 180 lads. A whopping ONE-HUNDRED-EIGHTY rolls for your guaranteed character or weapon. I thought 90 was bad (LOL). There is also, of course, your obligatory monthly pass (thank you Genshin). And don’t forget your standard Battle Pass equivalent, except there’s TWO battle passes now?! Wow. Really innovating on the monetization here, great job. That’s a commendable effort at maximizing the milking of the fanbase. Anyway, there’s the good and the bad you make your choice how to proceed.
  • One of the Best made games on this App

So far I have to say this game, is great. I don’t know another game that has GOOD animation in both 2D AND 3D☠️. Usually mobile games don’t have that quality or care about them, not the case here. Secondly I’ve been playing for a couple hours like like 5-6, while I’m sure there’s in app purchases. The game doesn’t bother you about spending money you can have fun and play completely for free without the usual pestering for money like you get on other games. Man this is gold.
  • Reminiscent of FF Tactics

I’ve been playing since launch and have been truly enjoying the story, old school pixel art and tactics turn-based combat. There’s already so much to do off the start but the learning curve is perfect. The shop seems to be a pre-cursor to the gacha element but the free to play story mode has been beyond expectations. Would’ve gladly paid a one time price for the game, but not looking forward to when it becomes pay to win.
  • If I could rate it 10/10 I would but still full stars for me

It’s got the roulette of pulling characters but in a good way u get more ssr/gold and rare/silvers but it doesn’t feel like it you have so many ways to customize the characters abilities that u can have a full blown damage dealing or you can’t touch me vibe. I would like to see if you could build many different squads in a sense. But I like how you have it now I have to say the devs have added everything into an rts/rpg game that you could ask for. Now I know it won’t be to everyone liking but I would recommend giving this game a shot. I hope the devs keep the game the way it is cause it’s a chef kiss already
