The power of nutrition in our hands
I was sick last week and found the app very useful for looking up foods high in vitamins C, D, and zinc to boost my immune system while I recovered.
The app is simple to use and customizable. There is an excellent tutorial (accessed by tapping the question mark).
I like that there is a favorites list per vitamin (listed at the top of the vitamin list). And there is also a consolidated favorites list across all of your vitamins and minerals.
I love the exclude option! I try different diets to see what works for me. So if I want to exclude meat and find foods high in B12 it works like a charm.
Once you decide on your favorites, you can go to the favorites list and click on a food to see all the side benefits of that food. It lists all of the nutritional information for a given food when you click on it.
This is a wonderful app and I was honored to be a beta tester for it.
