The app immediately crashes on iPhone 14 Pro Max
There are two different apps to use use the NFTA buss, this broken one for pay as you go and met cards, whatever that is, and the other app Token Transit, that allows day & week pass purchase.
And since there is no human customer service at NFTA you have to dispute the charge with your credit card company because they are not competent enough to have 1 app.
Constantly having to try and refresh for a new pass and it glitches and doesnt load for minutes.
Doesn’t work, the app will take your money, and doesn’t work once you board the bus.
Embarrassing app. It makes sense since it’s for the Buffalo Public Transportation system.
Under no circumstances should you download this app. It’s complete garbage. It’s like a slot machine for train tickets. Maybe it’ll work and you’ll get through. Or maybe you’ll scan the QR code and nothing happens and it still deducts the fare. Maybe it won’t work at all. Or maybe like me it deletes your entire account and steals your money. Much like everything with the NFTA it’s absolutely broken and useless. And they don’t care. The developers should be ashamed of what they’ve made too. I’d give it negative stars if I could. You’ve been warned.
I’ve missed too many trains trying to open the app without a connection error or it just simply crashing. Idk if it makes me want to jump the tolls or pay twice as much so you guys have the money to build a functional app. Get it together
Scanning my phone on the fare box rarely works. The people in charge of the app or fare-box did not take into account that the QR code is larger on different phones.
I let the NFTA know about this problem.
Wish it worked better, when you remove a card you can’t add it back as a security feature. Terrible! Also the constant “Connection error” blocks the QR code, fix this please! Horrible design.
Can’t upload my card at all to put money on my pass and it’s ripping me off and this app it’s trust worthy till things are fixed
