Oddly at odds with professional gear.
I have a bmw z4 and the top don guru scanner consistently reports “comfort access” and several other vague fault descriptions like “roof module”. I had my mechanic do a full scan on the car they said no such faults showed up for them. They said there was an oil sensor fault though and I believe them because the car had been giving erratic oil level warnings. Topdon guru failed to report this. My mechanic’s scanning equipment looked pretty professional compared to the pocket top don guru.. so it left me wondering why the hell are the codes so inaccurate?? Of course I have done every one of the topdon updates for BMW -they are mandatory.

TopDon obd Bluetooth scanner
So far I love this thing!! Worked better than expected especially for the price point. Keep updating and improving the product and I will be a customer for life
Rubbish
Tried for weeks to set up account, its impossible
Would love for a version for iPad
Good app on phone but highly suggest to developers for an iPad version
Waiting for Triumph
I like how it does motorcycles but still waiting for triumph to be supported. Will rate 5 stars once I can reset the service indicator on my triumph
Go buy Forscan instead
Wouldn’t recommend this app to my worst enemy. User interface is absolutely terrible +You gotta buy the ability to read different makes of vehicles. What a joke. Better options out there
E-mail sign up not working
Can not get e-mail sign up to work, so device is just a brick at the moment.
Remarkable functions in August 2024
I just detected that the app can count the misfiring of cylinder 11 of my Mercedes S65 at various RPM. It shows that the misfiring is at idle only.
