  • Never loads!

Made a profile/trip and it never works, continuous spinning wheel. Sigh.
  • Unusable due to crashing

I have attempting multiple times over the course of several days since I downloaded the app and have never successfully managed to keep it open for more than a minute without it crashing.
  • I don't do Facebook...

... so I sadly had to delete this app. It seems pretty cool though.
  • Once I'm in, I cannot do anything!

Delete my account, because you do not let me do it myself!
  • App crashed

App crashed every time I tried to setup a new trip on iPhone 6
  • I want to like it, but it keeps crashing.

I just downloaded this app on my iPad this morning, and now I can't open it on my iPad, and each time I try to open it on my iPhone, it crashes and closes before Checking In. I love the idea of this app, and I would really like to use it, but I haven't had the opportunity yet. Also, there is no App Support available, since the website for Kindred just links back to the iTunes page and has nowhere to report a problem.

  • Beautiful design, poor execution

Invite text code didn't work, family members aren't reflected under member list, unable to view check ins from other members, nor comments from those check ins. Haven't tried other features, because the above mentioned ones didn't work. Look forward to the update to address these.
  • Kindred, Your Personal Intranet...

Like most young adults living in America, I share an apartment with other folks. Although sharing the rent is awesome, living with two roommates come with its unique difficulties. I use Kindred to basically solve the following three major problems:

    1) Keeping tab on what's inside the fridge.
    2) Listing the shared chores and creating deadlines.
    3) Holding my roommates accountable for what needs to be done.

I use the Kindred's fridge section to solve my inventory problem. Any post made under the "Fridge Door" section of the app automatically updates on your roommates kindred. The Kindred task feature is the component I use to list chores and assigning them to specific roommates along with a due date. This is by far the component I use most frequently, for it allows me to hold my roommates accountable without any personal confrontation. Whenever a task needs to be done, I simply send a text saying, "Update your Kindred".

The moral of the story is this. If you want to manage your place without slamming the hammer on anyone, download Kindred right now.

  • Lifestyle improvement

Kindred is a masterfully built app-- everything from the aesthetic, to the user experience, to the functionality of each of the features is remarkable. I love using the fridge door and assigning tasks with my parents. Big ups and immense gratitude to the team behind this one.
