A absolutely brilliant game!!
I have spent so many hours on this game and it’s a fabulous time waster. Whether it is slugging against crazy bots, having an immense strategical battle in online multiplayer or playing with friends, it is a joy to play. The technology tree is big enough to last lots of games and the variety units and special tribes keeps the game fresh. It is balanced enough to have a solution to most problems. Opponent spamming knights? Spam swordsman. Archers? Knights. The list is endless. I can’t see myself tiring of the Battle of Polytopia in a long time. My only mild issue with the game is after the recent version 108 when sharks got 3.5 attack, so the Aquarion AI endlessly spams them and because of the surprise ability rammers don’t simply solve the issue. You almost need bombers, which are at least 17 stars versus the 8 star sharks. It only spams them on crazy because the star bonus enables them to. I think that calibrating the AI to reduce the shark spam would make the game much more enjoyable, and making the AI harder because crazy is way too easy. A ‘crazy+’ difficulty would be much appreciated!
